The Saline County Courthouse is celebrating the holidays with several fun events for the community. And Santa is coming too!
Bring the whole family for different themed nights listed below. Santa will be in the courthouse gazebo each of these nights. You can come get your picture made with Santa, and have some cocoa and cookies. See the schedule below for Santa nights, our if you’re looking for your child’s picture with Santa (or yours!), visit https://www.facebook.com/SalineCounty and your picture should be posted by the next business day.
The courthouse officially turned on all their Christmas lights for the season on the night of the parade, Monday, December 6th. The area will be open to the public through the beginning of January.
There is also a horse and carriage that will be giving rides around the downtown area throughout the season.
Here’s the schedule of ? Santa Nights so you can make plans:
(Each night is 6-8pm)
Mon Dec 6 – Santa in the Gazebo right after the parade
Thu Dec 9 – Santa in the Gazebo
Fri Dec 10 – Due to the weather forecast for Friday Night, Santa Claus WILL NOT be at the Courthouse. He and his elves will be back Thursday, December 16th, and Friday Night, December 17th. Character Night will also be Dec. 17th.
Thu Dec 16 – Santa in the Courthouse for Special Needs Night – all are welcome – just making accommodations for our special needs friends
Fri Dec 17 – Santa in the Gazebo – Character Night – Batman, Mickey & Minnie, Bobber the Dog, and a few others will be out and about on the lawn.
Mon Dec 20 – Santa in the Gazebo
