The Salt Bowl is coming on Saturday, and school spirit is rising like a football through the goal post. On Wednesday, August 23rd, coaches and players from the Benton Panthers and Bryant Hornets came to speak about it. They let us know at the Recycle Saline press conference, that they are ready for the game, regardless of the heat – or pants. See more about that in the video below after the 01h:01m:15s mark.
Benton Coach Brad Harris, Bryant Coach Quad Sanders and two players from each team spoke to the crowd and viewers at home. The players were polite at first, but when they started fielding questions, their competitive spirit came out.
Shane Broadway led the conference and welcomed featured speaker Steve Sullivan, Sports Director at KATV Channel 7 was also a featured speaker. The luncheon was sponsored by First Security Bank and hosted at the Saline County Career and Technical Campus-ASU Three Rivers.
