Submit someone in Benton for the Mayor’s SALT award. The City of Benton announced an award to recognize a citizen in the community.
SALT stand for Service, Advocacy, Leadership and Together. Service – This is a person in the Benton community who has tirelessly worked with and for the community to make Benton a better place to live, work, and grow. Advocacy – A person in the community who has stood up for those less fortunate and urged community and business leaders to think of others as they make decisions.
Leadership – A person who has a willingness or obligation to accept responsibility and account for the actions of the group to ensure success for the city of Benton. Together – Someone who is constantly finding ways to bring people together. The understanding that we have to work as a team to achieve great things.
