Bad to the Bow team wins 1st place.
Salem Elementary School’s “Bad to the Bow” archery team won first place at Regionals (Region 7) over the Feb 11-12, 2023 tournament. They ended with a team score of 2844. Salem had the top two female shooters in this competition; Kenadie Garner 268 & Keira Grimmett 251.
The team consists of 4th and 5th graders from Salem Elementary, coached by Head Coach Peggy Sue Lockhart and parent volunteer Sam Grimmett. SES is headed to the State Tournament at the Hot Springs Convention Center on Friday, March 3rd, 2023.
