The deadline to nominate some worthy person for the Senior Arkansas Hall of Fame is June 3, 2024.
The Arkansas Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging, Adult and Behavioral Health Services recognizes outstanding senior Arkansans who have served their communities and enhanced the lives of fellow Arkansas seniors. Seniors may be nominated by anyone.
The nominees need to be a citizen of the State of Arkansas, age 60 or older at the time of nomination. You need to tell how they performed outstanding contributions or services, which have promoted, enhanced, and enriched the quality of life for citizens of Arkansas, especially Senior Arkansans.
Get a nomination form through your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) or find it at this link. Complete and submit the form to the local AAA no later than June 3, 2024. The AAA must send all nomination forms to DAABHS by June 28, 2024.
Those chosen will be inducted into the Senior Arkansans Hall of Fame on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m., at the Windham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock.
