Recycle Saline, the Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District (SCRSWMD) is excited to announce their new Illegal Dumps Control Officer, Officer Carmen Haynes. Officer Haynes grew up in Saline County graduating from Benton High School. She has experience in law enforcement working at the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and most recently as a Saline County Bailiff at the Saline County Courthouse.
Officer Haynes will be responsible for the enforcement of open burning of any household trash, disposing of trash in an illegal manner, investigating illegal dump sites, littering, and working with the trash haulers operating in Saline County.
Tiffany Dunn, Executive Director, stated that “Officer Haynes has been a lifelong resident of Saline County and has passion for her community, and we are excited to welcome her to the Recycle Saline Team.” Officer Haynes will start with Recycle Saline on August 6, 2018 and will begin working out in the Saline County communities and attending events.
Recycle Saline: A Solid Waste District, is one of eighteen regional Districts established by the Arkansas Legislature, and has jurisdictional boundaries that encompass Saline County. Our mission is to maintain a financially sound solid waste management system that incorporates the essential elements of recycling, collection disposal, waste reduction, education and special material provisions to handle solid waste in an environmentally sound manner.
