Saline County Sheriff Rodney Wright announced his bid for re-election on Monday. The Primary Election will be held May 24, 2022. Wright’s full announcement follows.
In 2014, the voters of Saline County elected me as their Saline County Sheriff. It has been my most rewarding professional experience to date. During the last six and a half years, we have added deputies and key staff to support our ever changing public safety responsibilities. The men and women who represent the Saline County Sheriff’s Office showcase the best of public safety, unparalleled professionalism, and the most sincere concern for the citizens and visitors of our county. We work with the local law enforcement agencies to collaborate, close gaps, and improve the safety of our entire county.
I have been honored to be appointed by Governor Asa Hutchison to the Arkansas 911 Board. Currently, I sit as the First Vice President of the Arkansas Sheriff’s Association, and I am on the Board of Directors for the Regional Organized Crime Center (ROCIC) representing the State of Arkansas.
I am a leader with 27 years of law enforcement experience. With that experience, I know that our work in law enforcement is never done. We have so much more to do, and with that said, I am excited to announce that I am seeking re-election in 2022. I want to continue my work here with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and continue to serve as your Sheriff. I would be honored to have your vote and continued support.
Thank you Sheriff Rodney Wright
