Former Rivendell Employee Arrested for Allegedly Embezzling $80,000

According to a report by the Benton Police Department, a former employee of Rivendell Behavioral Health Services in Benton, has been arrested on several criminal charges. The report says Benton officers went to Rivendell and met with the CEO and CFO on April 6, 2016 in reference to former employee Crissy Filyaw, age 40, of Hot Springs, embezzling over $80,000 from the company.

Filyaw had a bond hearing in District Court at 10 a.m. Friday, where the judge set her bond at $5,000.

Rivendell officials have not returned a call yet. We will update this article when more information is available. The Benton PD investigation is ongoing.
