The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County (SCBGC) announced Tuesday that Chris Richey is the new Chief Executive Officer of the four facilities they operate.
Richey grew up and worked in Benton before moving to Helena-West Helena, AR in 2002. He has served as State Representative for District 12 since 2013 and as the Executive Director for the Phillips County Chamber of Commerce since 2015.
“The opportunity to join the team of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County is one I could not pass up,” Richey stated. “It is a fantastic organization built with incredible community support and the hard work of a great staff. I look forward to contributing to its strong tradition of investing in the lives of kids and families in my hometown.”
Richey also served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Phillips
County for eight years. Richey and his wife Holly have two sons, Ryan and Jon.
