If you’d rather read than shop, Krystle recommends 3 holiday rom-coms
It’s November, time to get in the holiday spirit! I am planning a holiday rom-com marathon for myself. Think Hallmark movies…except they’re books. I’m so excited! Here’s what’s on my list:
Christmas at the Valentine Inn – Jennifer Peel
Earlier this year I read a book called The Valentine Inn about a woman who owns an inn with her sister. Well, this book is about the sister! It’s got a lot of things I enjoy in a rom-com like second chance romance, and fake engaged. I’m hoping it makes me laugh but also swoon like the first book!
Merry Ex-mas – Courtney Walsh
Courtney Walsh is a pretty solid author for me, so her latest release fits right into my holiday rom-com marathon. A woman returns home for Christmas for the first time in eight years to find that her mother has invited her ex to celebrate with them. Small town, second chance, probably a little enemies to lovers… there’s lots to love about this one, I’m sure!
How To Ruin the Holidays – Becky Monson
Last year I reviewed a book called The Holiday Ex-files, which I loved. How To Ruin the Holidays is a spin off of that story! A woman who takes a business trip to avoid the holidays ends up in a town that belongs in a Hallmark movie. Reluctantly, she gets sucked into the Christmas spirit by the handsome cafe owner, *of course.* I can’t wait to see how the author incorporates allllllll the Hallmark movie cliches into the story!
