Two Saline County committees will meet on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Items on the agenda for discussion include certificate pay for deputies, and policy for who can use county vehicles.
The meeting will be in Courtroom #3 upstairs. Attendees should enter on the Market Street side of the Courthouse, and/or Market St. Entrance (Note the Market St. Entrance is ADA accessible) .

According to the Meeting Minutes below, the previous PW&S Committee meeting’s minutes were approved. Next, the JPs unanimously approved Exhibit A, a Daily Inmate Rate for the Saline County Detention Center.
The PW&S meeting was adjourned and the Finance Meeting began. Minutes were approved. Next, JPs unanimously approved Exhibit B, Appropriation Ordinance Amending the 2024 Saline County Budget Ordinances No. 2023-30. Exhibit C was also unanimously approved. It was an Appropriation Ordinance Amending the 2023 Saline County Budget Ordinance 2022-36.

In other business, JP Keck suggested hosting a Quorum Court meeting in Hot Springs Village. Response was favorable so he’s looking into it. JP Whitley is concerned with litter in the county and is inviting his neighbors to a cleanup day. JP Bellinger added there is a town hall Apr 2nd to ask the public for help with trash cleanup.

Judge Brumley said Saline County Water Alliance will attend March 4 QC meeting. Brumley also said traffic flow seems better on Interstate 30, after meeting with ARDOT. Meeting was adjourned.
