The annual Saline County Polar Plunge is set for Saturday, January 25th. The Benton Police Department invites the community to form a team, dress in costumes (optional) and take the plunge at Hurricane Lake in support of Special Olympics Arkansas athletes. Registration begins at 9 a.m., costume parade and awards at 10:30 a.m., and the anticipated plunge at 11:00 a.m. The plunge location is in the Hurricane Lake Estates clubhouse at 6015 Worth Avenue in Benton.

One way to raise funds for the event is through www.firstgiving.com. Search for Saline County Polar Plunge 2020, and follow prompts to start a team fundraising page.
