Come to the Saline County History and Heritage Society to learn about a workers’ neighborhood in Bauxite.
Dr. Russell Burton, of Benton, will present this program on Pine Haven. It was a government housing addition in Bauxite in the 1940s for workers at the aluminum plants, and their families.
The program will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 8th at 123 N. Market Street in downtown Benton. Come early to get a good parking spot and seat.
