Today’s picture is a tribute to a cartoon that my kids watched growing up. “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has several scenes where a man’s cabbages get knocked off his cart. In his angst, he yells, “My cabbages!”
The cabbages pictured here are neither his nor mine. They were planted by the Riverdale Garden Club, so I suppose you could say it belongs to them. However, they choose to share it with the community as part of the garden at the post office in Bryant. So when you go to the Bryant post office, be sure to greet the garden by yelling, “My cabbages!” Photo by Shelli Poole.
