Panda Express is located in Hurricane Village shopping center at Interstate 30’s westbound Exit 121 in Benton.

Several have asked us when Panda Express is opening an can we previously got a goal date of January 22nd, but that date has passed. I did tell you that many restaurants don’t hit their goal date for a number of reasons so we aren’t surprised, but it’s obvious from my message inbox that people are eager to eat there. The real news here is that according to the City of Benton, Panda is open this weekend. Enjoy.

It’s been nearly five years since we told you Panda Express had plans to open a location in Benton, but things don’t always work out the way we’d like. We were able to update you in Sept. 2019 that the Asian fast food restaurant had finally settled on a spot and indeed the deal. Now that we can see from the interstate at the westbound exit 121, that the walls are up and even the signs are lit on the building, staff tells us the goal for opening is January 22.
We know from experience with restaurant openings that goal dates don’t always work out because of permits, inspections, equipment, deliveries, staff and more – so use that date as a close guess. But it does look like we’ll have one more reason to clog up that particular stretch of road very soon.findeastereggs
