At approximately 3:05 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the area of Northshore, Oakbrook Cove and Denise for reports of Breaking and Entering of vehicles, one of which led to a home invasion robbery. Three black men, at least one brandishing a handgun, entered a home, robbed a couple and left in an unknown direction.
The victims went to a neighbor’s home and called 911. No persons were injured during the incident.
Detectives are diligently pursuing all leads on the case. The investigation is ongoing.
