Take a spring break from the pandemic to add your prayers to this list

Here it is Spring Break and COVID-19 is almost all we see in the news. It’s not how we pictured this traditional time for vacation, but this virus has taken over our lives.

We know by now the precautions we need to take to contain the spread, but there’s something that is not exactly a news outlet’s job to tell you – we need to pray.

I want to ask everyone to do a special thing. I want you to type your prayer in the blank. Then as the submissions come in, every so often, we will update this page to show how everyone is praying about things related to this pandemic. We won’t ask for anyone’s name – just the prayer. Let’s do this to beat this virus, as well as encourage each other with our faith. Thank you. -Shelli

YOUR PRAYERS:

  1. Answer to my health issue.
  2. My prayer is for peace in our hearts, without anxiety or stress or paranoia about contracting the disease. For patience and creativity in the home. For everyone to be cautious and smart to stay washed, keep a distance and only take necessary trips out of the home. I pray also for fast recovery for those already infected. My prayer is also for those in hardships to be encouraged, for school and business to get back to normal soon, but for us all to serve each other in the meantime. Good is bigger than this. Our faith is bigger. Believe the cure is coming and pray for it.
  3. I pray for peace and healing. ?
  4. I’m praying that God will quickly eradicate this virus and that the things He is teaching us through this crisis will stick! He is able. #FaithNotFear
  5. Pray they get the treatment out for the people sick quickly so we can all get back to more of a normal life.
  6. I pray that God will end this soon.
  7. Lord we know you have plans for good and not evil. You give us hope for a future. Father we know you move mountains and part waters. This far you have provided and taken care of us. Thank you Lord for all of the provisions. We know nothing touches our lives that hasn’t first past through your hands. We turn it all over to you. Our hope and confidence is in You! Lead us, guide us, show us the path You prepared. In the name of Jesus amen.
  8. I pray for peace and comfort and for this nightmare to be over!

Heavenly Father, I come to you to first of Thank You for all the blessings you have so lovingly given to me….I thank you for holding my hand during my time of grief since I lost my husband in November…Father today and everyday I am praying for you to take this Covid-19 Virus out of the world…I pray and ask you to just stop it because You are the only One who can…I pray for everyone that has it for healing… I pray for comfort and no fear or anxiety and that all of us would just isolate until it is over….Most of all and above everything else, I pray and ask you to forgive me of all of my sons…These things I thank you for, ask for and pray for in Jesus Holy and Previous Name….Amen.
  10. I pray that people realize the joy a friendship and community that they are now missing due to being kept away from those that they are close to and those that they love. Help us all to be more accepting, tolerant and loving as we go through this and when we are able to socialize with our friends and community again!
