Brandon Overly officially filed to run for State Senate District 13, covering portions of Garland, Hot Spring, Grant and Saline County. On Tuesday, Overly traveled to Little Rock with his family to file to run for office at the state Capitol building in Little Rock.
Overly works for a consumer goods manufacturer and is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, where he earned a bachelor’s in business administration. Overly is a husband and father of five beautiful children. He and his wife are active volunteers with the Arkansas Dream Center and other community organizations. The Overly’s serve their local church by leading the guest service team and Brandon is active in coaching various youth sports.
“I am excited for the opportunity to serve the people of this district and the state. I want to work to make sure the families and businesses in my area have a voice in the Legislature in Little Rock,” said Brandon Overly.
Overly supports strengthening public schools, improving healthcare, and lifting hard-working Arkansans out of poverty. Overly plans to work to eliminate child hunger and improve the lives of children in foster care.
