Author Rex Nelson is scheduled to speak in the Ouachita Speaker Series on Tuesday, November 12th at 7 p.m. This event is in Hot Springs Village at the Woodlands Auditorium, 1101 DeSoto Blvd.
Nelson is among the highest-profile writers and speakers in Arkansas. He is senior editor of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, author of three books and writer of the food blog, “Southern Fried.”
He served as communications director for Governor Mike Huckabee as well as in President George W. Bush’s administration. He is in the Arkansas Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame and was named “Rural Advocate of the Year” for the state of Arkansas.
