Kevin Douglas Evans, age 49, passed away peacefully, after a battle of Leukemia on Friday, October 13, 2023.
He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on January 9, 1974 to Norman “Doug” and Nancy Evans.
He graduated in 1992 from Benton High School in Benton, Arkansas. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard and graduated from Pulaski Technical College with an Associates Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Kevin is survived by his daughter Shelby Leann Evans and son Michael Douglas Evans; sister Kathy (Tony) Flores; aunt Peggy (Jay) White and cousins Christy (Donald) Sowell and David (Selena) Berry, Jr.
Kevin was preceded in death by cousin, Joey Robertson, uncle David Berry, Sr., niece Makenzie Flores and grandparents.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Akash Mukherjee, M.D., extended staff, and nurses of UAMS and Hospice Home Care of Little Rock.
Memorials can be made to the Leukemia Foundation @ UAMS Cancer Institute, Little Rock, AR.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
