Buddy D. Allen, age 89 of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on December 15, 1933 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Buddy retired from Arkansas Face Veneer Company in Benton and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving active duty from 1951 to 1954.
Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mary Lou.
He is survived by his three daughters, Vickey Wingerter (Vicki Fraser) of Conway, Patty (David) Bennett, Linda Creasey of Benton and one son, John Allen of Benton.
Buddy is also survived by his seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Matt (Beth) Wingerter and Shelby of Benton, Summer (Jonathan) Peters and Jaxton of Quitman, Kc Michael (Brook) Bennett, Lucas and Olivia of Rosebud, Jacob Creasey, Jack and Caroline of Benton, Sarah (Alex) Shaw, Evie and Nora of Benton, Jonathan Allen and Jaxon of Benton, Leslea (Lila) Zeno and Lawson of Benton.
A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held at Rosemont Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Alcoa Pines Nursing Home for the care provided to Mom and Dad. A special thank you to the staff of Saline Memorial Hospice, especially Kara, Kathy and Kirby.

On December 12, 2022, Dagmar Dodds, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness.
Dagmar was a devout Catholic and had been a member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church for almost 28 years. She was a well-known and respected member of her community and everywhere she went she made friends. Dagmar was proud of her previous job as a paralegal and loved giving tennis lessons, country-western dancing, trying new recipes in her kitchen, playing bridge with the “bridge girls”, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
Dagmar is survived by her husband of 62 years, Mike; her children Mickey Dodds, Cindy (Mark) Cook, Larry (Ana) Dodds, and Chad (Jaime) Dodds; grandchildren Michael (Grace) Dodds, Hannah Dodds, Courtney Dodds, and Amelia Dodds; and great grandchildren Laila and Samuel.

Yueveda Faye “Skip” Plummer, 75, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 15, 2022. She was born January 25, 1947, in Benton, Arkansas to the late Brian E. Hendrix and Mabel Loraine (Mason) Dodgen.
Skip loved to paint with her late husband and was often found tending to her flower garden. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed watching Pioneer Woman. Skip made the best pies and showcased them at Ed and Kay’s where she worked with Alma French. She was a very quiet, private lady who didn’t want anyone in her business. Her dogs were precious to her. Skip was adventurous and enjoyed riding on the back of a motorcycle. She was an avid pool player. Family was important to Skip. She enjoyed eating the provisions (deer, elk) from her son’s hunts. If she met you, she never forgot you.
Preceding Yueveda in death are her husband, William “Bill” Plummer; parents, Brian Hendrix and Mabel Dodgen; grandchild, Jeremy Wilson; and siblings: James Glenn Craig, Herman Earl (Butch) Hendrix, Phoebe Chambers, Kenneth Alford Hendrix, and Patricia Summerville.
Skip leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: son, George Landreth of Huntsville, Alabama and daughters: Tracie Golden, Laura Baker, and Carla Harvison all of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Nicholas Landreth, Parker Landreth, Jason VanSkiver, Chadrick VanSkiver, Cassie Webb, Leah Golden, Michael Harvison, and Matthew Harvison; great-grandchildren: Destiny Bruton, MeAunna Higgs, Malaia Higgs, Marissa VanSkiver, Mason VanSkiver, Madelyn WanSkiver, Josh Hagelstein, Rayne Hagelstein, and Daniel Mason; siblings: Robert Hendrix (Susie), Doris Bosima, Morris Ray Cox (Phyllis), and Ronnie Dodgen; and a host of family members and friends who love Skip and will miss her always.

Clifton Dee Bailey passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born in Yell County on February 28, 1937, to the late Walter Clay and Emerline Bailey. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He owned and operated Cliff’s Glass and Trim for 27 years and then began his commercial and residential property business.
Clifton is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Bailey, Son-in-Law Hank Anderson, brothers Clayton C. Bailey, Stinson Bailey, and E.C. Bailey, sisters Carolyn Bailey, Dorothy Wilkins, Jewel Dean Byrd, and Betty Harp.
Clifton is survived by his wife Jean Bailey, daughters Linda Anderson, Connie Brown, Donna Elmore (Mark), grandchildren Clint Anderson (Melaine), Matt Brown (Katie), Luke Brown (Ashley), Chelsi Brasher (Brett), Maegan Tilley (Andrew), Carlee Fox (Grant), thirteen great-grandchildren,; brother, Jimmy Bailey ( Sheila) sisters: Wilma Hughes (Rodney), Kay Freeman (Phillip); and many family members and friends who love Clifton and will Miss him always .
A celebration of life will be Monday, December 19, 2022 at Smith Benton Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with the service following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Pallbearers will be Clint Anderson, Matt Brown, Luke Brown, Brett Brasher, Andrew Tilley, and Grant Fox. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Elmore.

Karen Sue Campbell, 70, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away December 16, 2022. She was born April 7, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Robert Dean Zumbrunnen and Viola Lavern (Piker) Zumbrunnen.
Karen was an animal lover. She served on many animal rescue organizations and would advocate for animal rights legislation. She helped to rescue and find homes for numerous animals in her life. She lived a selfless life of service to her family and causes she believed in,
including volunteering for Mother’s Against Drunk Driving, serving as a Girl Scouts troop leader, and coaching tee ball. She was one of the first to be trained as a certified pediatric respiratory therapist and focused on children with cystic fibrosis. Karen was an avid Kansas City Royals fan and enjoyed going with her family to games in the summer. She loved gardening, had a green thumb, and raised beautiful flowers. She had a deep love of mountains, the desert and chile from her home in New Mexico. While she had many passions, her ultimate purpose was her family. She found her most joy from being with her children, grandchildren, and sisters.
Preceding Karen in death are her parents and brother, Randy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Robin Wright and husband Earnest, Christopher Wright, and Abigail Singer and husband Adam; sisters: Kathy Ewing and Cheryl Rodekopf; grandchildren, Jarred and Milo Wright; and many family members and friends who love Karen dearly and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 20 followed by funeral service at 10:00 AM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas. Burial following at Heard Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas.
