Aaron Christian Jones, age 40, of Bauxite, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born June 25, 1982 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Aaron retired from the U. S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Jones.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jones; two sons, Hayden and Elliot Jones; two step-daughters, Payton and Braydee Hammons; mother, Ruth Ann Osman; brother, Mark Jones; and a sister, Stephanie Loveland.

Violet Marie Wood Harris, 97 of Benton, passed away on November 27, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1924 in Opal, Arkansas to the late Harlow and Lillie B. Ramsey Foreman.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters, husbands, Earl Wood and J.T. Harris.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Judy) Wood, David Wood and Tim Wood, daughters, Doris (Sonny) Nutt and Jane (Larry) Garrett, twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5th with Bro. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Alexander.

Ava Ticia Bolt, 64, of Benton, Arkansas passed away November 25, 2022. Ava was born December 28, 1957 to the late Ted Ray Bolt and Louise Martina (Parker) Bolt.
Ava was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors and working in her flower garden. Ava enjoyed cooking and loved to shop. She was a hard worker and a true friend to all who knew her.
Ava is preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Jimerson and parents: Ted Ray Bolt and Louise Martina (Parker) Bolt.
Ava is survived by her son, Michael Jimerson; daughter, Gina Jimerson; grandchildren: Nathan, Blake, Blain, Haley, Cameron, Ethan, Madison, and Avery; sister, Marilyn Baker; brother, Carl Bolt; as well as a special friend and care giver Larry Jimerson and many other family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.

Mary F. Whitfield passed from this life on November 28, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas
She was born in Warren, Arkansas January 29, 1936, to the late Webster F. Kinard And Lucile Reep Kinard Hunt.
She is survived by her brothers Bob Kinard (Jan) of Dayton Nevada, Jack Kinard (Shirley) of Altoona Pennsylvania, and John Hunt (Jaque) of Mayflower, Arkansas. Also surviving is a stepdaughter, Sherry Irvin of Benton.
Mrs. Whitefield was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Whitfield, her parents, her sons Ronnie Roam, and Robert Don Roam, and her infant daughter Sandra Lynn Roam.
Mrs. Whitfield was a hostess at Roller- Ballard funeral home and a caregiver for the elderly. She also volunteered at CJOHN. She was a member of the first assembly of God in Benton, Arkansas.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Roller Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton.
Graveside services will be held at New Rosemont Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Whitfield to the youth group at the first assembly of God in Benton, Arkansas.
