Bobby Gray Cockrill, 80 of Mabelvale, left this earth on September 7, 2022. He was born on March 8, 1942 to the late Johnnie and Mildred Balch Cockrill in Newport, Arkansas.
Bobby Joined the US Army in 1959 and served in Korea. After his tour of duty, he enjoyed several different career choices from agriculture to the airplane industry. His love of driving eventually led him to a career as a truck driver for Batesville Casket Company, retiring from there in 2005.
He was an avid hot rod and car collector and could be found most days tinkering with his collection of old cars, enjoying the company of friends or just relaxing, listening to his favorite music or watching an old western.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 21 years, Betty Cockrill, son, Todd (Amy) Cockrill, grandchildren, John Hayden, Zachary and Jessica, stepsons, Shane (Tammy) Marks and Wade Marks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12th at Ashby Funeral Home 108 W. Narroway in Benton, 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Chapel services at Ashbys will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday after visitation with Bro. Rick Porter officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery 21207 McPherson Road in Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.
Paul “P.D.” Moseley, age 41, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born December 30, 1980 in Benton, Arkansas.
P.D. is survived by his wife, Amy Moseley; two sons, Collin Moseley and Kyle Pennington; daughter, Taylor Pennington; father, Paul E. Moseley (Joyce); mother, Erma Faye Martin; and two sisters, Shanda “Desha” Merrell and Ashley Frazier.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. P.D. was always making people laugh and was known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He was full of life & energy and never saw a lake or river that he didn’t want to fish in with his family & buddies. There is no telling how many fish he caught in his lifetime. P.D. also loved deer and hog hunting; especially with his uncles. He had an outgoing, friendly personality who was usually surrounded by friends. P.D. enjoyed teaching sports to his sons, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17 at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Roger Linn Love, 77 of Benton, passed away on September 8, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1945 in Richmond, California to the late Herbert and Vernia Lovelady Love.
Roger was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church and a Deacon for 41 years. He loved to travel and hike, with his favorite places being Yellowstone and the Rocky Mountains.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Ed Love.
Roger is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Cheryl Geurin Love of Benton, daughters, Linda Michelle Hughes of Benton and Jana (Chris) Treat of Bryant; five grandchildren, Ryan Hughes, Grayson Treat, Madison Treat, Jackson Treat and Bryson Treat.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and Tracy Jackson.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Mike Doddridge officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before services.
Tammy Jean Meister, 58, of Benton, Arkansas passed away September 8, 2022. She was born June 20, 1964 in Malvern, Arkansas to James and Joyce (Walters) Burkes.
Tammy was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed reading, going on vacations to the beach, shopping with the girls, and searching for treasures at antique stores. Her family, including her fur babies, were the most important things to Tammy and she loved them with all her heart.
Preceding Tammy in death is her father, James Burkes.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-six years, Herman Meister; children: Beth, Katie, and Jackson; mother, Joyce Burkes; and many family members and friends who love Tammy and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – Noon, Wednesday, September 14, with funeral service, officiated by Bro. Tom Strike, following at Noon, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.

Roger Owen Reaves, 83, of Benton, Arkansas passed away September 9, 2022. He was born April 19, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Garland Aubry and Josephine Margaret (Murphy) Reaves.
Roger was of the Roman Catholic faith. He was a member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Roger was a teacher for over forty years and taught secondary History and English, and elementary exceptional education. He was an avid learner and teacher. Roger had a love for History and children. He had a great sense of humor and a generous heart. Roger was a wonderful brother and friend to all who knew him.
Roger leaves behind his sister, Mary Ann (Reaves) Dyer and husband Ron of Benton, Arkansas; three children; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and family members and friends.
Services will be held at a later date with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.

Jane Mary (Birdsong) Stacy, 66, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away September 9, 2022. She was born November 14, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to George and Agnes (Smith) Birdsong.
Jane loved children and taught kindergarten for over thirty-seven years. She enjoyed travelling with her sisters, spending time in the outdoors, and going on frequent trips to Wal-Mart and Sonic. Jane cherished her family and was a wonderful mother. Trips to the beach, reading old classics, and visiting with her family and teacher friends were her favorite things to do.
Preceding Jane in death are her parents; brother, George Patrick; and sister, Susan.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Greg; sisters: Carol and husband John and Bridget and husband Craig; brothers: Ed and wife Kay and George and wife Tammy; companion, Mayo Smith; and many family members and friends who love Jane and will miss her always.

Debra Ann Jackson, age 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on August 22, 2022 at her home.
Debra was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and sister. Debra was born to the late Ray and Marie Barker on July 7, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Barker.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Hurst(Hannah); granddaughters Margaret and Hannah Hurst; sisters, Sherry Morales(Freddy) and Sandi Navarrete(Jorge); brother, Russell Barker; nephews, Juan Morales(Nancy), Steven Morales(Terhi), Jeremy Navarrete, Kaius Morales; nieces, Miila Morales, Lakeisha Navarrete, and Latoya Ortiz; and a great nephew, Mason Morales.
A memorial service will be on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 12PM at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home 6700 Alcoa, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
