Gary Eugene Spann, 67 of Benton, passed away on August 24, 2022. He was born on November 24, 1954 in Little Rock to the late Coy “Cotton and Mary Ellen Fox Spann. Gary was retired from Reynolds after 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Cary “Bubba” Spann, grandparents, Jessie Spann, Birdie Spann, Vela Fox and George Fox.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Jessica “Nicki” (Allen) Spann Wyles, Shona (Terry) Roach, sister, Teresa Spann Raper, daughter in law, Monica Allen Spann, grandchildren, Caroline Spann, Landon “Bubba” Spann, Tyler Stivers, Ashlyn Stivers, Dane Roach, Chris Wyles, Daniel McCandless and Alexis Rhodes; super best close friend, Hattie Spann; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 29 at Cross Bar C Cowboy Church on Hwy 70 with Bro. Greg Spann officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell.
Visitation will be Sunday at Ashbys, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Pam Sue Richmond, age 67, of Haskell, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022. She was born December 9, 1954 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Benny Ray and Dorothy Mae Bean.
She is survived by her husband, Nicky Richmond; daughter, Mary Witham; sister, Wilma Crowder; and one grandchild, Triston Witham.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Thomas “Scott” Craig, 77, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away August 20, 2022. He was born August 22, 1944 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late Thomas Ralph and Florence (Phillips) Craig.
Scott was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Bryant. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. After serving in the military, Scott obtained his Associates degree and began working as an electronic technician. He was military disciplined, yet still maintained a great sense of humor. Scott spent many hours working in his yard as he was obsessed in making his lawn beautiful and perfectly manicured. He loved history, was fastidious in researching his ancestry, and collected many family records. Scott was an avid Razorback fan. He also looked forward to meeting with his Bryant High School classmates at their get-togethers. Scott was a loving father and husband, and very much looked forward to joining his wife again in heaven.
Preceding Scott in death are his wife of almost 40 years, Gail Whitfield Craig; parents, Thomas and Florence Craig; and siblings: Phillips Ralph Craig (Annette), Lytle Hickerson Craig, Barbara Joyce James (Charles), and Judith Mae McClendon (James).
Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters: Leigh Ann Craig and Rae Lynn Craig, both of Little Rock; sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Hollowoa (Roy) of Benton, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Karen Craig of DeLand, Florida; and many family members and friends who love Scott and will miss him always.
Graveside service was held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, August 25, at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10200 AR-Highway 5 in Alexander, Arkansas.

Doris Lillian (Smith) Bennett, 95, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away August 25, 2022. She was born on November 5, 1926 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to the late Miles and Una Smith.
Doris loved reading, working in puzzle books, and jigsaw puzzles. She looked forward to people coming to her house to visit. Christmas Eve was her family’s favorite holiday as they enjoyed going to her home, where she had a delicious meal waiting for them. She was an amazing cook, and her chicken and dumplings were the best ever.
Preceding Doris in death are her husband, Samuel Bennett; son, Samuel “Buddy” Bennett, Jr.; and her parents.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Janet Barker; grandchildren: Michelle Easter and husband Jerome, Christi Gillmore and husband Nathan, Cari Cellini and husband Nick, Nancy Kinder and husband Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Parker, Matt, Christiher, Nico, Lili, Alice, and Nicholas; great-great grandchildren: Niko, Micah, and Mordecai; and many more family members and friends who love Doris and will miss her always.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
