She was a member of Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church. She retired after 45 years from Target/Woolworth. She was preceded by her husband of 64 years, Chauncey Taylor who was retired Air Force and a veteran of WWII and Korean War along with five brothers, one sister and one granddaughter, Paula Marr. LARRY LEE SENN, 80, of Benton Arkansas passed away on July 27, 2018. He was born to Floyd Senn and Alice Price on April 18, 1938 in Lodi California. His family moved to Boonville, California where he met, Celestine “Tina” (Robbins) Senn, the love of his life that he was currently married to for 59 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and absolutely adored his grand kids and great grand kids. He was the hardest working man ever and was still working full time driving his big rig (18 wheeler) every day but family always came first for him and meant everything to him! He was the most loving, caring, giving and considerate man ever. He would give a stranger or anyone the shirt off his back, a Pepsi or whatever they needed, even if it meant he went without that day. He would gladly help anyone at any time and touched many lives. He always had a smile on his face that was very contagious and loved to joke and tease with everyone. He looked forward every year to our holiday baking by participating with the white chocolate pretzels and enjoyed having fun, joking around and hanging out with the family! You will not find another amazing man like him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by so many. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents, Floyd Senn and Alice Price; his sister Irene Butcher; in-laws, Olen and Faye Robbins. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, PEGGY JALORES BROWN, age 81, of Bryant, Arkansas, died August 2, 2018. She was born May 16, 1937, at home, in Carden Bottom, Arkansas, to parents preceding her in death; Grady and Josephine Eubanks. Peggy was a wife, mother, homemaker, pastor’s wife, and ministered alongside her husband in several churches throughout central Arkansas for many years. Her faith was not of this world, but in her heavenly father. She was a living testimony to all those who came into contact with her sweet spirit, and all were blessed by just knowing her. She is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Carroll L. GERALD “GERRY” DAVID PEEL SR., age 82 of Mabelvale, Arkansas entered that eternal waiting place from his home on Thursday, August 2, 2018 surrounded by his wife and church family. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 18, 1935 to his late parents, Harold Raymond and Icie B Davenport Peel. Gerry was a faithful member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and was a veteran of the United States Marines. Gerry was a prankster and jokester, but most importantly, he loved his family and the Lord Jesus Christ as evident in his writing on January 9, 2014. “A Better Place”….. “There’s a place I’ve never seen beyond this world we know, a place I’ve only heard of but someday hope to go. It’s not on any map. There are no roads to take me there, but it’s a place of perfect peace. And though I understand some may be saddened when I leave, one day we all will meet again. SHIRLEY NADINE SOUTHWORTH, age 83, of Paron passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was born July 2, 1935 in Paron, Arkansas to Earl Lambert and Lovie (McDonald) Lambert. She married Von (Tubin) Southworth on April 24, 1952. Together, they had two daughters, Renee and Becky. Shirley was a devoted housewife, an excellent cook, and loved to prepare meals for her family. She is well known for her fried potatoes, dumplings, dressing, and chocolate fried pies. She also loved to garden, fish, and camp. Shirley spent countless hours canning vegetables from her garden, driving around with Von checking on their cattle, and humoring him by attending Bluegrass music festivals, which was a love of Von’s. Above all else, Shirley loved her family and nothing made her happier than having them over for Sunday supper. She was active in her community, participated in working at her local election site, and filled in as needed as a cook in the school cafeteria. Shirley attended North Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Paron. Shirley was proceeded in death by her parents and husband, sister Melva Frederick, son-in-law Russell Garrett, and great-grandsons Chase and Grant Garrett. Left to love and remember her are daughters Renee Garrett and Becky Smith, brother, Dewayne Lambert (Betty), grandson’s Corey Garrett (Kami) and Ben (Karleigh) Cantrell, all of Paron; granddaughter’s Deena Garner (Nathan) and Rachael Williams (Hunter) of Benton. Shirley has 4 great-grandchildren: Layton Garrett, Mica Garner, Aslyn Garner, and Stella Garner.
