Cordell Herring age 98, of Benton passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at her home. She was born July 30, 1923 in Perry Co. Cordell was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, two sons, six brothers, three sisters, and three grandchildren making her the last of her generation. Cordell retired from Teletype and was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church. She volunteered at CJOHN and Saline Memorial Hospital.
Survivors, daughter, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Cordell loved to sew and swim. She sewed for deceased babies and made quilts for the children at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and also made dresses for the Miss Arkansas Beauty Pageant. If she heard that someone needed clothes for any occasion, she would make the clothes for them. Cordell was always making homemade soup and took it to shut-ins and checked that they were ok. She loved to help others in any way she could.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Salem United Methodist Church.

Clifton “Cliff” Clarence Baugh went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the age of 83. He was born in Jefferson, Arkansas on April 8, 1939, to the late Franklin Pierce and Pearl Dalby Baugh. He was reared in Jefferson alongside his 4 brothers and received his education in the White Hall School District. Clifton married the love of his life, Helen Marie Veazey, on June 15, 1963. He was a skilled trim carpenter by trade and was retired from the maintenance department of NCTR in Jefferson. Clifton fiercely loved his wife, his 3 sons and daughters-in-law, and 9 grandchildren. He was extremely proud of his Baugh family heritage and enjoyed the beauty of God’s creations.
He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Clifton “Carl” Baugh (Pam), whom he dearly loved. Also preceding him in death were 3 brothers: William “Bill” Harris Baugh, Sr., Alvin Louis “Bud” Baugh and Franklin Pierce Baugh, Jr.
Clifton is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helen Baugh of Jefferson; a son, Calvin Curtis Baugh (Shelley) of Edmond, OK and a son, Clayton Chuck Baugh (Traci) of Bryant, AR. Other survivors include his brother Jimmy Wayne Baugh of Jefferson and 9 grandchildren of whom he was very proud: Autumn Louise Baugh of White Hall, Madison Elise Baugh and Meredith Delaney Baugh both of Edmond, OK., Layton Charles Baugh, Laci DeAnna Baugh, Leah Adelle Baugh, Lucille Louise Baugh, Lillian Pearl Baugh and Lilah Marie Baugh, all of Bryant, AR, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Baugh will be buried at the Jefferson Cemetery at a private, family ceremony at a date to be determined.

Judy Lyn Bindner, 72, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away July 22, 2022. She was born November 9, 1949 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Joseph Jerry Jamar and Carol (Mullen) McCarver.
Judy attended college at Northeast Louisiana State University. She worked for many years in the accounting department with SCAN-Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Agency and in medical transcription. Her favorite job of all was helping watch her grandchildren, who were the light in her life. Judy was the most creative person and could always be found working on a new project. She and her husband enjoyed travelling. Some of their favorite trips were to New Orleans to eat crawfish and crab and family trips to Disney. She had many Wizard of Oz collectibles. Another hobby Judy enjoyed was searching for antiques at local flea markets and antique malls. Music was a large part of Judy’s life, with over 13 jukeboxes in her home. They also collected old 45 records. One could say Judy and her husband were “Lost in the 50’s”.
Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her loving husband, Allen Bindner of Bryant, Arkansas; children: Kari Lyn Pope and husband Josh of Benton, Arkansas, Robert Denk of Portland, Oregon, Erika Denk of Washington, and Richard Fernandez of West Palm Beach, Florida; grandchildren: Seth Pope, Liam Pope, Ivan Pope, Aria Pope, Aaliyah Fernandez, Renee Fernandez, and Kora Fernandez; siblings: Richard McCarver and wife Jamie of Arlington, Texas, Pat McCarver of Conway, Arkansas, and Robyn McCarver of Little Rock, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Judy and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM, Monday, July 25, followed by memorial service at 2:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas. Judy loved to wear tie-dyed shirts, so family would love to see you wear your favorite at her service!

Marilyn “Sue” Neal, 75, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was born to the late, Carswell and Evelyn Heer, on Monday, April 14, 1947, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Sue enjoyed shopping, reading, cross stitch, watching westerns, and QVC. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Benton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Frances Patalive.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William “Bill” Neal; daughter, Marci Pasierb and her husband, Michael; three grandchildren, Logan, Carson, and Jordyn; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.
Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
