Pamela Loretta Keener, 63 of Benton, passed away on July 18, 2022. She was born on November 4, 1958 in Benton to Ofada Zewanda and Mattie Faye Pettit Sharp. Pamela worked at The Manor in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Luther and Dora Sharp.
Pamela is survived by her daughters, Tasha Keene and Stephanie Bradshaw, sister, Avaline Sharp; special friend and companion, Craig Helvey; three grandchildren and one great grandchild, Niece, Ashton N. Gunawan.
Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Randy Chu officiating at Social Hill Cemetery in Benton.

Larry “Bear” Burton, 74 of Tull, passed away on July 18, 2022. He was born on March 29, 1948 in Tull to the late Amos and Myrtle Burrow Burton.
Larry was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in Tull, and was retired 21 years as a road grader operator with the Grant County Road Dept. He was an alderman for many years with the town of Tull. Larry loved driving his tractor around his place and sitting on the swing outside and playing with his grandchildren. He loved sports of every kind, but especially the Razorbacks and the New York Yankees, but dear to his heart was watching his grandchildren play ball, he always attended their games faithfully.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sandy Gill Burton of Tull, son, Nicholas (Amber) Burton , daughter, Ashlea ( Michael) Targett, all of Tull, brother, Kenneth (Kay) Burton of Louisville, Mississippi and grandchildren, Trent, Evan and Colt Henry Targett, Abigail Myers, Evan Robert Myers and Reese Burton; many nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.

David Alan Maxwell, 86, of Benton, Arkansas loved life and the knowledge that he was welcomed into heaven on July 18, 2022. He was born August 31, 1935 in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Daniel Wesley and Mary Elizabeth (Halley) Maxwell.
David was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Benton where he served as a deacon for many years. He served in the United States Navy, where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. David retired as an electrician and instrument tech specialist at Alcoa. Family was David’s priority. He adored his grandchildren who affectionately called him Granddaddy. David was a rock to his grandchildren, especially when their father was on assignments with the military. He was always there to step up in any way his family needed. David was servant minded and participated in many organizations including Habitat for Humanity. His family agrees that David did everything right and left no unfinished business.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Bendette (Johnston) Maxwell of Benton, Arkansas; daughters: Lisa Henry of Little Rock, Arkansas and Andrea Smith and husband Paul of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Danny Stewart and fiancé Joy Livers of Benton, Luke Henry of Little Rock, and Dr. Alaina Smith of Charleston, South Carolina; brother, Dick (Joyce) Maxwell of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Judy Johnston of Vancouver, Washington; nieces: Marcy Cabaness and Molly Maxwell of Fort Smith; nephew, Dr. and Mrs. James Maxwell of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love David and will miss him always.
Memorial service, officiated by Rev. Greg Kirksey, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 22, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton.

Shawn Omholt, 56, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born to, Kenneth and Margaret (Shaughnessy) Omholt, on Friday, August 6, 1965, in Great Falls, Montana. If anyone knew Shawn, they would know he loved sports—especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and being a boxing judge with Arkansas Boxing Commission. He was the owner and operator of Bryant Brake and Tire for over 18 years. He loved his life and spent every day making everyone around him feel loved and appreciated. His family—especially his grandkids, were the light of his life!
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Omholt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 amazing years, Cindy Omholt; mother, Margaret Omholt; two children, Amber Stallard and her husband, Mark, and James Cagle and his wife, Stephanie; four grandchildren, Josh and Carlie Stallard and Brice and Libby Cagle; along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss his presence dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
