Diane Teague, 69, of Benton, passed on to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 26, 2022. She was born on September 14, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Henry and Rebecca McCool. Diane was a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Baptist Health.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Teague, and her parents, Rebecca and Henry McCool.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery Teague; daughter, Jodi Willmon; granddaughters, Holly Willmon and Kalyn Armstrong; and two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Savannah Armstrong.
Chapel service by Ashby Funeral Home will be at 10am on July 1st with Dustyn Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.
There will be an open visitation, 6pm-8pm on Thursday June 30th at Ashby Funeral Home.
Elizabeth Jean “Betty” Cross Schwartz, 72 of Benton, passed away on June 23, 2022 at Saline Memorial Hospital with her family at her side. She was born on October 1, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Robert and Marjory Ellenor McPhee Cross.
Betty was a member of the Bryant First United Methodist Church. She attended Farmington High school in Farmington, Michigan and graduated in 1967. Betty worked from high school on in personnel for various companies, ending with Pathfinder, Inc. of Jacksonsville, Arkansas as of her death. She rose through the ranks in her career from secretary to Director of Personnel and Compliance. Betty was loved and respected by coworkers and clients alike for her fair minded approach in the handling of personnel issues as well as in overseeing compliance of regulations for employees and clients.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John William Moir and daughter, Robin Elizabeth Schwartz Lobbs.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Schwartz, son, Christian M. Schwartz, daughter in law, Catherine “Alexis” Branscum Schwartz and grandsons, Owen Joseph Schwartz and Jefferson Lee Lobbs.

Gailen Kent “Bud” Grant, 82, of Benton, Arkansas passed away June 28th from injuries he sustained from an accident in his shop. He is proceeded in death by his father Wes Grant, mother Kim Burwell, step mother Jean Grant, his father and mother-in-law Boyd and Mary Rochelle, sister-in-law Doll Grant, and his nephew Scotty Burwell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marsha Grant and a son B.J. Grant. He is also survived by his two brothers Dub Grant and Vick Burwell and his wife Kelly Burwell, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Teresa Rochelle, many nieces and nephews Morel Grant, Brian Burwell, David Burwell, Tiffany Kremer, Ashley Coughlan, and Mandy Troph.
Bud started American Building Systems Company in 1975 and his hard work and dedication lead to a successful business for over 47 years. He grew up an accomplished rodeo cowboy and made the IRA Hall of Fame. Bud was in the Army National Guard. He grew up a true horseman, trick rider, and rope handler. Bud’s interest turned to fishing and hunting as he grew older. His leadership, wisdom, hugs, and loving smile will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church Thursday June 30, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Memorial service will be held at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church on Friday July 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

Mary Louise McCool Daril, 96 of East End, passed away on June 29, 2022. She was born on April 25, 1926 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late William Homer and Annie Mae McCain Grant. Mary was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Daniel McCool, daughter, Brenda Burnett and son, Charles McCool.
Mary’s legacy lives on through her children, Larry and Jean McCool, Ronnie and Shelby McCool and sister, Patricia Barnes; her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mary will be fondly remembered for the love she expressed to her family and friends. Her signature choice of cherry red lipstick and nail polish and daily addiction to Coca-Cola will always be cherished memories to those closest to her.

Alma “Mae” Perrine, 79, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away June 26, 2022. She was born October 11, 1942 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Marion and Esther (Tackett) Waters.
Mae worked at Maybelline Cosmetics and served as a care giver for many years. She loved the Lord and could often be found singing her favorite hymn, listening to gospel music, or playing the autoharp. Her family was most important to her, and she adored her grandsons. Mae was sweet, caring, and kindhearted. She demonstrated this by always being willing to help others and in her love for animals.
Preceding Mae in death are her parents, Marion and Esther (Tackett) Waters; sisters: Betty Billingsley and Hazel Becton; and brothers: Joel, Charles, Billy, Jimmy, and Johnny Waters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Donna Lambers of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Amanda Kindrick and husband Jason of Vilonia, Arkansas; grandsons: Wesley York (Sharlai), Chris York, and Gavin Mosley; great-grandchildren: Aleki York and Atlas York; twin brother, Albert Waters and wife Joyce of Florida; sister, Janie Stillians of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Mae and will miss her dearly.

Michael Eugene Heer, 55, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away June 28, 2022. He was born March 6, 1967, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Audrey and Ida Pat (Boyette) Heer.
Michael loved being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, or floating the Buffalo. He reminded his family of MacGyver, as he could make something out of nothing and could fix anything that was broken and make it work again. He was a fabulous storyteller. Family was special to Michael, and he cherished times spent together.
Preceding Michael in death are his parents; and siblings: Bobby Heer, Glenn Heer, Tony Heer, and Kelly Heer.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two children: Ryan Heer of Mabelvale, Arkansas and Rachael Hasley and her husband Adam of Malvern, Arkansas; sister, Kathy Keever and husband Clint of Bryant, Arkansas; brother, Charlie Heer and wife Stella of Mississippi; mother of his children, Karen Heer of Mabelvale, Arkansas; best friends: Robert Keenzel, Nick McDaniel, and Susan Brenkus; and a host of family and friends who love Michael and will miss him dearly.

Gary Lee CURTIS, 80, from Bryant, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Gary was born on January 27, 1942 to Troy Lee Curtis and Geneva Bowman Curtis. Gary was retired from the Arkansas State Hospital and was an Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Dee and half siblings, Carolyn Sue, Robert and Joyce Ann.
Gary leaves behind one son, Terry Curtis; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother, Jimmy Ray (Melody); sister, Norma Ruth Able (Roy) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank long-time caregiver, Tina Robin for her tender care, love and compassion, and to Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful care of Gary. At Gary’s request there will be no formal services.
Jeffrey Michael Baumbeck, 60, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. He was born to the late, Julius and Bernadette (Leonard) Baumbeck, on Tuesday, June 12, 1962, in Oxnard, California. For anyone who knew Jeff, you would know he was stubborn, but you would also know how hard working he was. He loved spending time with his grandkids and when he wasn’t doing that, he was somewhere coaching softball. He was a mentor to a lot of younger people in the community, and he was always volunteering in any way he could. He was an avid Razorback and Steelers fan. His dog, Ace, was so important to him and he loved her so much.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two children, Joshua (Jeanne) Baumbeck and Amanda (Colt) Lundberg; four grandkids, Hayden, Kinley, Addison, and Kyler; three sisters, Mary (Dale) Moore, Julie (Bryon) Glenn, and Peggy (Sal) Diaz; along with many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
