Mary Magdaline Green, 100, of Bryant, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born August 11, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mary was adopted and raised by John D. & Birdie D. Griffis. She was a lifelong resident of Bryant where she met her husband, J. C. Green in Bryant High School. Mary was a homemaker and also a registered LPN. She was a member of the Bryant Methodist Church where she enjoyed playing the organ for several years.
She is preceded in death by her adoptive parents and her husband.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Robert & wife Vicky and Ronald Green; and a grandson, Robert Todd Green & wife Robin and his mother, Vicki Luer.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Chaplin Shelby Smith will be officiating.
On April 9, Norma Faye Gordon Craft, of Bryant, beloved mother and friend was welcomed into God’s loving arms at the age of 88.
Norma was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and moved to Arkansas in 1962. She will be remembered for the many lives she touched through multiple generations with her kindness and her works & words through Christ.
She has joined her husband, William Richard Craft and her parents, Lloyd & Frauline Gordon inside Heaven’s Gate.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Lenna & David Hopkins of Little Rock and Lisa Smith of Bryant; four grandsons, Brandon Smith, Andrew Smith (Gabrielle), Nicholas Hopkins, and Thomas Hopkins (Cloe Doyle); and two great-grandsons, Ranger and Woodson.
Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 Thursday, April 13 at Indian Springs Baptist Church with services beginning at 12:00. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse or Indian Springs Baptist Church.
Donald B. Williams, 93, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away April 8, 2023. He was born December 29, 1929 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Buel A. Williams and Ora Scott Williams. Don went to join his late wife Juanita Billings Williams. He had a 30 year career with Dover Elevator. Don loved to read and was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed his cats and doing yard work. Earl Graham “Scrapiron” Patterson, age 88 of Traskwood, AR passed away on April 8, 2023 at his home where he wanted to be. He was born in Holly Springs, AR on May 17, 1934 and attended Sparkman Public Schools and Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR, and Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. He was a member of the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge. Graham was of the Baptist faith and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton, AR.
Graham is preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 62 years, Mary Aeline Patterson of Traskwood; son, Terry Scott Patterson of Bryant, AR; both of his parents, Cadmus and Mildred (McDonald) Patterson of Holly Spring, AR; three sisters: Amelia Faye Ridgell of NLR, AR, Mittie Small of Russellville, AR, and Myrtice Patterson of Houston, TX; one brother, W.L. Patterson of Mena, AR; and two infant sisters.
He is survived by daughter, Denise Hammett (Mike) of Benton, AR; son, Drew Patterson (Tina) of Traskwood, AR; daughter in-law, Melinda Patterson of Bryant, AR. He is also survived by the following grandchildren and great-grandchildren: James & Michael Patterson, Michael, Mason & Heather Hammett, John (Ashley) and Weston Patterson, Kristan Fichtner (David) and Anna Gray, Jimmy Lee, Shane & Adri Rankin, Ashley Dyer and Caleb Patterson; sister in-law Kate Patterson of Mena, AR; along with a host of nieces and nephews and other family and lifelong friends.
Graham is retired from Alcoa Metals in Benton, AR. He was also a longtime member of the Arkansas Mission Builders where he took great pride in working and knowing that he was serving his Lord and Savior by helping build, expand and supply ABA Missionary Baptist churches and missions with anything and everything that they may need, no matter where around the world they may be. Graham was a man of strong faith and conviction, knew who his faith was in, and where his eternal rest was to be. His children learned many things from he and their mother- with the main thing being to make sure you have placed your faith and trust in the Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, the one and only Son of God.
A special thank you to his care giver Beverly, his hospice nurses Judy and Brittany, CNA Angel and all the wonderful people from Hot Springs Gentiva Hospice.

A special note from his kids. If our daddy could tell you anything it would be to make sure you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and that alone is more important than anything else that you could ever do.
Celebration of Graham’s life will be held Saturday, April 15 at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 19200 I-30 Frontage Rd, Benton, AR 72019, with visitation held from 10:00-11:00 AM, and funeral following at 11:00 AM.

Randy Ray Ramsey left us to be with his Father in heaven on April 6, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1954 to Gladys Marie (Cagle) Jones and Frank Ray Ramsey in Memphis, Tennessee.
Sergeant Terry Wayne Roach, 50 of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 8th, 2023, surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born to Beulah Brooks on Tuesday, July 11th, 1972. Due to Beulah’s unfortunate passing, he was lovingly adopted in 1978 by Wesley “Delbert” Roach and Shirley (Brooks) Roach where he gained numerous brothers and sisters.
Terry enlisted in the US Army after the tragic events of 9/11 and proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with Charlie Battery 2/142 FA. He worked for the US Postal Service for 23 years. He was a devoted mail carrier, trainer, and from time to time, he supervised.
Anyone who knew Terry knew he was a diehard Cowboys fan. He loved fishing, hiking, traveling, camping, and above all else, he loved spending time and making memories with family and friends. Terry also spent countless hours learning, training, and teaching the art of kajukenbo where he earned a fourth-degree black belt. He was a natural problem solver and loved working with his hands. He could fix anything. He was a loving father, husband, son, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his birth mother, Beaulah Brooks; maternal grandparents, Lester and Gladys Brooks; paternal grandparents, Wesley and Lizzie Roach; and his aunt, Melba “Nanny” Strachan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shona Roach; three sons, Justin Roach, Dane Roach, and Tyler Stivers; his daughter, Ashlyn Stivers; his parents, Wesley “Delbert” and Shirley Roach; six brothers, Sam Roach (Nora), Bobby Roach, Josh Roach (Candace), Brent Roach (Wendy), Joseph Roach, and Legacy Roach (Amanda); five sisters, Danette Ratliff, Elizabeth Barger (Michael), Tyna Crabtree (Jimmy), Tiffany Roach (Steven) and Cheyenne Roach (JT); along with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. with the visitation held one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Butler Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas. Bro. Paul Goodman will be officiating.
