Martha Ellen Roberts, 88, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away April 4, 2023. She was born May 28, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert Cottrell and Beulah Hart Cottrell.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.
Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Carlton Brown, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 7, at Sardis Community Bible Church, 8699 East Sardis Road, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103. Burial to follow at Salem Cemetery in East End.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery, 20621 Arch Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.

Jessie Perez Gresham, 86, passed away on April 1, 2023. She was born December 17th, 1936, in Benjamin, Texas to the late Justino and Eulalia Losya Perez.
She is survived by her children, Tammie Gresham (Ronda), Bobbie Gresham (Diane), Brenda Philips (Harlen), Sharon Abbott (Ray), Jimmy Gresham (Tonda); twelve grandchildren, David, Johnny, Chris, Chrystal, Chad, Nino, Brandon, Joshua, Carmen, Mason, and Adam; an numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Gresham; her parents; brothers, Domingo Perez, John Perez; grandchild, Anthony Gresham; and her beloved fur baby Tiger.
Visitation will be held at Roller- Alcoa Funeral Home (6700 Alcoa Rd. Benton, Ar. 72015) on Wednesday April 5th from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday April 6th at 10:00a.m. at Roller- Alcoa Funeral Home with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Robert Lee (Bob) Giesbrecht Sr. Born in Gun Plain Township on February 19, 1943, to the late Florence (Chapman) Giesbrecht and Herman Giesbrecht.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Ramona E. (Breeden) Giesbrecht in January 2013 and his youngest son, Gerald A. Giesbrecht in July 2020. He is survived by his oldest son Robert Jr. and his daughter Tammy Graham and her husband Steven Graham.
His hobbies were shooting his Black Powder rifles and handguns, riding horses, and farming with draft horses.

Roger Lyndon Poole, age 79, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on April 3, 2023. He was born on August 16, 1943 in DeQueen, Arkansas but grew up in Nashville, Arkansas. He was proud of his Nashville Scrappers and played Center in high school.
He served from 1964-1968 in the US Air Force. He always told veterans “Thank you for your service.” He loved the Arkansas Razorbacks too. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1973 as an Electrical Engineer.
He worked for Entergy for 30 years, retiring at the age of 60. He always said he was going to write after he retired. He eventually published two humorous books, “The Sleigh,” and “But Mama Said,” along with many other writings, including poems and songs.
Roger was a member of Midtown LR Rotary and Pinnacle Questers. He served as an officer in both.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.M (Mat) and Maxine Poole; his sisters, Wilma Jean Thomas Sharp and Elizabeth Janice Hudspeth; and his brother, Richard Allen Poole.
Roger is survived by his wife of 58 years, Thelma Edwards Poole; brothers J.M. Poole, Jr. (Norma), Wes Poole (Suellen), and Wayne Poole (Jeanette); his children are Rick Poole (Gina) and Shelli Poole; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at Mabelvale United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and Service at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Mabelvale UMC at 10500 Woodman, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103
Sandra Dady Sharp, age 63, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on April 3, 2023 after a battle with cancer. She was born on May 6, 1959 to Dale and Anne Dady in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. After graduating from White Hall High School in 1977, she went on to attend UALR.
