Donald W. Koon age 52, of Paron passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born August 17, 1970 in Little Rock. Donald was a heavy equipment operator; member of Amazing Grace Church in Paron and Paron Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Koon, grandmother, Evangeline Morris, grandfather, William Truit Evans.
Survivors, Wife of 29 years, Brenda Nelson Koon, son, Truit Koon, daughters, Dylan (Troy) Treadway and Lauren Koon, brothers, Derrick (Elaine) Koon and David (Lisa) Koon, mother, Barbara Koon; three grandchildren, Clair, Peyton and Coraline.
Pallbearers will be Truit Koon, Galen Nelson, Justin Nelson, Richard Nelson, Rodger Evans and Nathan Nelson.
Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27th at Amazing Grace Church at 17325 Unity Road in Paron, Arkansas with Bro. Charles Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Fowler Cemetery in Paron.
Visitation will be at the Amazing Grace Church on Sunday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. What made him the happiest was to see his children and grandchildren attending Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Fonda Gay Masters, 72 of Hot Springs, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born on December 22, 1950 in Benton to the late Raymond and Virgie Gatlin Raper. Fonda was a member of Rock Hill Christian Church in Hot Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sharon Langley and Yvonne Raper.
Fonda is survived by her husband, Jack Masters of Hot Springs, sons, Thomas DeWayne Ray and Raymond Masters, brother, Gary Shoptaw, sisters, Juanita Davis and Gayla Shelnut; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th with Bro. John Richardson officiating. Graveside services will follow at Traskwood Cemetery in Traskwood, Arkansas.
Visitation will be at Ashbys, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Died: Little Rock Arkansas March 21, 2023
Carol was the daughter of Melvin and Flossie (McCulley) Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas R. Napton; daughter, Kelly Jean Nance; and her brother, Ronnie Johnson.
Carol is survived by her children, Jerri Lynne Van Dyke and Ronald Van Dyke; her grandson, Jared Cohen and her granddaughter, Tyler Ann Van Dyke.
She worked at the Cinema Glamour Shop at the Motion Picture & Television Fund in Los Angeles, California and moved with her husband to Merrit Island, Florida and then moved to Bryant, Arkansas to be close to her family.
A special thanks to The Manor in Bryant, Arkansas and Hospice for their exceptional care of Carol in her time of need.
There will be a private service at her burial site.
