Daniel “Danny” Fredrick Colclasure, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away March 19, 2023. He was born September 13, 1939 in England, Arkansas to the late Jacob Charles and Lillie Mae (Moon) Colclasure.
Danny proudly served in the United States Navy. He was very knowledgeable in business, had a brilliant mind and was a material handing salesman that handled many major accounts throughout the country and even a few overseas. Danny was his daughters’ protector and hero. If he was with them, they were not afraid of anything. He may have been a stern man, but he was very proud and defensive of his family. Danny enjoyed gambling, watching the horse races, and living right across the street from Oaklawn in Hot Springs. He loved playing cards, especially Poker and Triploly, listening to music, and dancing. Danny lived life with gusto and did it his way.
Preceding Danny in death are his parents; brother, Charles Richard “Uncle Dicky” Colclasure; sister-in-law, Wanda Colclasure; and step-children, Danny and Ricky McCormick.
Danny leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Hardene Colclasure of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughters: Paige Colclasure (Brad) of Bryant, Arkansas and Shannon Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother; James Kenneth Colclasure of Bryant, Arkansas; grandchildren: Zack Davis (Krystal) and Stephanie Tanner (Gary); great-grandchildren: Rylee Adams, Lanee Davis, Davis Tanner, Brooks Tanner, and Linzee Threlkeld; sister-in-law, Elaine Colclasure; lifetime friend, Rick Brown; many nieces and nephews; and several family members and friends who love Danny and will miss him always.
