Alfred Lee Evans was born September 14, 1949 and went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2023.
Al was preceded in death by his wife Tanga Lee Bowman-Evans; sisters: Barbera Davenport and Lucille McKinzie; father, William Evans; and mother, Jonnie Huffman.
He was survived by his children: Jimmy Don Evans, Paula Crowder, and Alan “Buddy” Evans; his sisters, Linda Brown and Marie Lunsford; several nieces and nephews; and many grandchildren.
Al was enlisted in the military for 26 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He also served his community as a volunteer fire fighter for 34 years. He was beloved in his community for his many years of dedicated service.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 21, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home followed by service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR at 1:00 PM.

Beverly Kay Eastin, 78, of Benton passed away on March 14, 2023. She was born January 9, 1945. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years of marriage, Freddy Harold Eastin, and son Bradly Carl Eastin. She is survived by her loving children, Holli Eastin Johnson, and Max Christian Eastin; and grandchildren: Brandon Eastin and wife Jayce with Collin and Abigail, Blake Christian Stratton, and Aden White all of Benton. Kay was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family, playing golf, and relaxing on her houseboat.
