Carol Ann Harrison, 71, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was born to the late, Robert and Louise (Pacillo) Smith, on Friday, August 3, 1951, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. If anyone knew Carol, they know how much she loved her family—especially her grandchildren. They were the highlight of her life. Her family was very important to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Smith, and daughter-in-law, Stacey Harrison.
She is survived by her sons, T-Bear Harrison and J.J. Wilkerson (Felicia); one daughter, Jessica Oxley (Lance); seven grandkids, Hunter, Tyler, Kolbe, Blayn, Allie, Jax, and Emma; one brother, Dave Ockerman; two sisters, Sharon Grant and Mary Hill; along with a host of other family, friends, and church community that will miss her dearly.
Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Crystal Hill Baptist Church.
Janis “Jan” Elaine Payne, 78, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was born to the late, Aston and Maxine (Holmes) Gray, on Monday, January 2, 1945. Jan loved animals and would rescue all of them that she could. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Little Rock Zoo. She loved nature, fishing, traveling, and really just helping others.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her brother, Vincent Gray (Janice); two loving daughters, Donna Steed (Walter) of Spring, TX and Tammi Pennington (Jimmy) of Bryant, AR; six grandchildren, Brandon Steed, Brittany Powers, Ashlie Staley, Bryson Steed, and Blake and Brett Pennington; six great grandchildren; her wonderful neighbors, Mary and Dorothy; her beloved animals; along with a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
Her celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 P.M at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Little Rock Zoo.
