Judy Marie Ware, 75, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022.
She is survived by her daughter Bobbye Blair, son Randall Blair, granddaughters Lauren Brown, Natalye Leake, Stormye Blair, grandson Chance Blair, sister Mary Lee Roberts, brother Chester Napier, and several great grandchildren.
Judy was a retired REEG Technician and Supervisor and was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and VFW Post 2256 Auxiliary.
She came and left us as a lady of grace and beauty. Although she will be missed, her light will shine forever.

Elizabeth “Sue” Ashcraft, 63, went home to be with Jesus on February 11, 2022. Sue joined her mother, Freda; father, William; and her sister, Teresa on the streets of gold.
Sue was born on September 9, 1958. On her 13th birthday she met her best friend, and the love of her life, Tracy Ashcraft. In their 48 years together they had two children, Shane and Teena.
Sue was a caregiver at heart. She was always the one her family called for answers to all of life’s questions. Sue was definitely the heart of her family. She loved to hide money throughout her house. Some of her hobbies including canning fruits and vegetables and shopping online. Sue’s desire to learn new things never stopped. She has continued to take courses ever since she graduated high school. If she wanted to know about something, she would take a class. She taught her family the most important lesson-family is everything and to treasure each moment spent together.
Sue was survived by her husband, Tracy; son, Shane; daughter, Teena; grandchildren: Gray, Tye, Landon, Beau, Mason, Elizabeth, Preston, and Evalyn; and many more family members and friends who love Sue and will miss her always.

Richard Lee Graves, 76, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away February 12, 2022. Richard was born June 3, 1945 to the late Raymond Graves and Georgia (Platt) Graves Morrison.
Richard was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and restoring and collecting antique cars. He had many “projects” he was always hoping he would “get around to”. Richard loved looking at antique cars and listening to Elvis. He had no limitations despite his severe back issues and never complained. Richard was strong and determined to live life, despite having chronic crippling pain. Family was extremely important to him. He loved his sons and raised them to be strong men. Richard married his wife, Martha at a young age and they each helped raise one another and became best friends through their journey. Many people say that Richard gave the best hugs ever and was soft and gentle despite being a big man.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia (Platt) Morrison; father, Raymond Graves who passed away when Richard was just a young boy; siblings: Bill Graves, Bob Graves, Frank Morrison, and Jim Morrison; and stepfather, George Morrison.
Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha; two sons, Jeffery Graves and Daniel Graves; grandchildren: Jacob Lee Graves and wife, Tiffany, Jessie Lucille Alvey, Tyler Cannon “Homer” Graves and fiancé, Lauren; seven great-grandchildren: Gavin, Garrett, Connor, Cannon, Cammie Jo, Dakota, and Gunnar; half-brother, Johney Morrison; dear friends: Charlie Phillips, Johnny Strickland, Bill Wilkins, and Gene Easter; and many family members and friends who love Richard and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 15, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral Service is Wednesday, February 16, at 11:00 A.M. at Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church with a burial to follow at McPherson Cemetery on Sardis Road.

Karl Leslie, 86, of Paron, Arkansas passed away February 12, 2022. He was born June 22, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Virtus and Clara (Shackleford) Leslie.
Karl was a hardworking man and could always be found on his new tractor. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a talented slow pitch ball player in his younger years, and volunteered as an umpire when his children played ball. Karl was a school bus driver when he was a senior in high school and brightened the student’s day.
Preceding Karl in death are his son, James Michael Leslie; and his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of sixty-five years, Frances Leslie; sons: Terry Leslie and wife Teresa and Gary Leslie and wife Tina; grandchildren: Terry Jr., Leah, and Luke; six great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who love Karl and will miss him always.

Jeffrey Glenn Davis, Jr. age 50 of Benton, AR passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. He was born in Milton, Florida, September 19, 1971 to Jeffrey Glenn, Sr. and Voncille Hunsinger-Davis.
He was preceded in death by his Dad on January 6, 2022. Also preceding him were his Grandparents, Toyee G. and Sarah L. Springer-Davis and Willie and Ruth Roberts-Hunsinger; Uncles, Terrell Hunsinger and Ken Bowling and Aunt, Sarah Davis-Bowling.
Jeff grew up attending church and Sunday School from the time he was a week old. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior while attending Highland Heights Baptist and was later baptized at Temple Baptist Church. He graduated from Benton High School in 1990 and joined the US Navy in 1992. After his enlistment, he worked in several different areas of carpentry and construction as a builder/framer, finishing carpenter, cabinet builder, tile layer, installed sprinklers in commercial buildings, tree/pole climber to hang satellite discs high up in the hills and mountains, lawn care—you wanted it done, he could do it. He enjoyed planting flowers, keeping his yard mowed and taking care of his dog, Dixie. Like his Dad, he had an infectious smile and laugh and loved to joke around. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him.

Margie Marie Thomason, 79, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born to, Alvie and Elsie (McCamey) Foster, on Sunday, May 10, 1942, in Paragould, Arkansas. She enjoyed taking care of her garden, being surrounded by her flowers, and watching the birds. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and she was a proud member of Eagle Point Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James “Jim” Thomason.
She is survived by two children, Tammie Carpenter (Steve) and Kris Thomason (Sherrie); four grandchildren, Justin, Jessika, Brittany, and Josh; one great granddaughter, Skyler; three sisters, Earline, Lois, and Brenda; along with a host of family and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.

James Lewis Hagan Began his final ride on Saturday, February 12, 2022.He was born on December 22,1960 to Charles Hagan and Barbara Price Hagan Koros in Memphis Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Evelyn Garton Hagan; 6 children, Charles Allen Caster “Amanda”; Christina Hagan-Slocum “John”; Marsha Mooney “Clay”; Gene Peters “Tina”; Jennifer Luckett; Sarah Moore; 21 grandchildren, Kaylie Jo, Alissa, Dale Mooney, Rachel, Taylor, Kaven Slocum, Tucker Castor, Sarai, Jasmine ,Steven, Amija, Lucas Luckett, Ronnie Adams, Emily, Bryan Peters, Olivia, Ryleigh, David Moore, Angel, Andrew Thomas; one Sister, Debbie Helvey; 2 nephews, Kevin and Wesley Campbell Thunderhead Brothers; and numerous aunts and uncles. James was a proud member of the Red and Gold Nation. He was a member of the Thunderhead Motorcycle club for 20 years. James was the Thunderhead state president. James looked at the Thunderhead club as the brothers he never had and loved them with his whole heart. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Loved his family unconditionally. Teresa Lynn Hutcheson, 64, of Traskwood, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was born to the late, Lester and Ruby Wallace Meredith, on Saturday, November 16, 1957, in Benton, Arkansas. Teresa loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed and cherished the times spent listening to music, laughing, and playing horseshoes being surrounded by her family. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and if she said she would be there—she made sure she would be. You could always count on her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jessie Kenneth Bagley and Jerry Wayne Hutcheson; son, Kenneth David Bagley; brother, William David Meredith.

Charles Edward Ballew, 61, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born to the late, Herbert and Juanita Bannister Ballew, on Friday, December 9, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He enjoyed building computers, photography, watching movies, and the casino. He loved cooking and eating with his family and friends any chance he had. Charles lived for his dog, Leroy. He was his pride and joy. He loved listening to 70’s rock music and enjoyed old cars, but his grandbabies were the twinkle in his eyes.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Yvonne and Cissy.
He is survived by his children, Chris Ballew (Kristi) and Mallory; three grandchildren, Devan, Kaitlyn, and Wyatt; five brothers and sisters, Lawrence, Judy, Wayne, Linda, and James; along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Gussie “Gus” Kemp, 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was born to the late, Joe and Icie Jones Kemp, on Sunday, March 6, 1938, in Provo, Arkansas. He was an avid antique car lover who loved working on his Triumph TR3 and going to car shows. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and he could make the most beautiful floral arrangements. Gus was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and the British Motoring Club of Arkansas. He graduated from Central High School in 1956, and he was an AT&T Pioneer Member.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon Kemp; and two sisters, Mary E Whittington and Shirley P Ward.
He is survived by his three loving children, Patricia Aureli (Ric), George Kemp (Melissa), and Debra White (Jay); three grandchildren, J.T., Dylan, and Grace; two great grandchildren, Madison and Logan; companion, Mary Crews; along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.
