Linda Diane Williams, age 66, of Bryant, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023. She was born March 29, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Harold and Lillian Zinn Wimberly. Diane worked at Baptist Health and was a member of Bryant First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Williams; two daughters, Amanda Ballew (Brandon) and Lori Louks (Daniel); sister, Sherry King; and three grandchildren, Hunter & Grant Ballew and Alexander Louks.
Pallbearers will be Triston Ross, Shawn Ross, Shawn Ross II, Bert King, Clay King, and Todd Burrows.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30 at Bryant First United Methodist Church with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Mittie B. Rowland, aged 94, of Benton, passed from this life to the arms of Jesus on January 25, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mitte was born on July 28, to Stephen Monroe and Lura Belle Garner, the eighth of six sisters and three brothers. She was born in the Lonsdale area of Garland County and lived in various locations in the Saline/Garland County area in her childhood. Mittie graduated from Bryant High School in 1946 and moved to Little Rock for work. She met the man there that she would spend the next 60 years of her life with: Jack Warren Rowland of Little Rock. They were married on September 12, 1948, in Little Rock. They moved to Enid, Oklahoma, where their first child, Deborah Lynne was born in 1950. They returned to Little Rock, where their two boys, Ronald Lee and J. Randolph were born in 1951 and 1955. They then moved to Blytheville, Arkansas for work in 1960, returning to Benton in 1976.
Jack and Mittie were faithful followers of Christ, raising their children and living their lives with God’s guidance. They loved visiting with friends and family, and traveling with them to parks, gardens and family entertainment. They were devoted to each other until Jack’s passing in June of 2009.
Mittie was also preceded in death by her parents, and all but one of her siblings. The one remaining sister is Ruth Guerin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Also surviving are her three children, Deborah Trussell (Gale) of Alexandria, LA, Ronald Rowland of Alexander, AR, Randy Rowland (Vicki) of Hot Springs, AR, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of the West Shores community in Hot Springs, AR for their care and concern over the last five years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel.

Gary D. Ramsey, age 76, of Benton, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born February 12, 1946 in Bauxite, Arkansas to the late T. V. (Bud) and Lola Ramsey. Gary was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam and retired from Alcoa. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton and the Bauxite Old Timers. Gary was a referee for the AOA Football League and spent many mornings at the Mack’s Minnows Coffee Club. He enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing, and attending Bauxite football games.
He is preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings, Lucy Ramsey Jeanes (Grady), T. J. Ramsey (Margaret Johnson), Martha Ramsey Bradshaw (Homer), Edwin Ramsey, Wayne Ramsey (Mickey), Francis Ramsey, Barbara Ramsey Camp (Farris), Charles Ramsey (Martha), and Janie Ramsey Campbell (Latham).
Gary is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nanette Conley Ramsey; two children, Chris Ramsey (Donna) and Kelli Ramsey Burns (Kenny); four grandchildren, Gabby Ramsey (Logan Easterling), Brayden Reddin, Gracie Ramsey, and Justin Reddin; his fur-babies; and a host of friends and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Kentner, Eric Jones, Jay Turner, Brad Collatt, Dickie Tucker, and Tommy Hobbs.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 30 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Rev. Keith Dodson will be officiating.
Brenda Hicks, 74, of East End, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at home. She was born on June 27, 1948, in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Cliff and Louise (Perser) McGathy. Ms. Hicks was retired and enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and shopping.
Ms. Hicks was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Hicks and her brother, Jeff McGathy.
She is survived by her two sons, DeWayne Hicks (Marie) of Paris, AR and Joe Hicks (Cindy) of Springdale, AR. Two sisters, Vickie Zigler of Benton, AR and Anita Spears of ICO Community, AR; one brother, Dave McGathy of Castroville, TX; four grandchildren, Shane of Alexander, Kriston of Benton, Caitlyn and Zane of Springdale, and six great-grandchildren with one on the way, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bauxite with Bro. Charlie Woods and Carlton Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, January 27, 2023 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, Benton, AR.
