Emma Jean Cox Page Lucas was born on May 14, 1929 in Bauxite, Arkansas to Osa Carl and Mila (Davis) Cox and passed away on January 18, 2023 in Texas. She married Owen Eugene Page in 1946 and they initially lived in Benton. Owen was career navy, so they lived in multiple states and settled in San Diego, CA. They were divorced in 1965.
She was a homemaker, worked at the Heart Association and as a nanny in her later years. She loved children, crossword puzzles and spending time with family. Her past-times included cooking, writing letters, watching the Price is Right, having a good cup of coffee and loving on dogs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bill Cox and Aileen of Covina, California, her twin brother Pat Cox of West Covina, sister Ouida Fowler and Vernon of Houston, sister Marie Moore and Harrell of Benton, Arkansas, brother-in-law Denver Rice of Benton, Texas and brother-in-law, Bill Randall of Houston. She was also preceded by best friends Nathan Thomas, Jan Hall and Eloise and Ralph Sutton.
Emma Jean is survived by her sisters Jo Wilson and husband Bob, Caroline Rice, Pauline Randall all of Benton, Arkansas, and Grace Cox of Lake Elsinore. Five children, Phillip Page and wife Cora, Karen Page, Richard Page, Debra Kaufman and husband David, and Karl Page and wife Cindy. Her grandchildren include Ann Marie Ventura, Elizabeth Ventura-Moore (Ron), Antony Page, Rohan Rivas (Sarah) Loren and Antonio Page; great-grandchildren are Lexi Ventura-Walker (Kyler), Hunter Ventura, Rae Page, and Rock and Axel Rivas.
Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26th at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Ashbys, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Betty Irene Cox Jones age 84, of Benton, Arkansas formerly of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Friday January 20, 2023. She was born on July 12, 1938 in Marshalltown, Iowa to the late John Webster Cox and Eva Mae Belt Cox. Betty was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Jones, three brothers, Leo H. Cox, Larry (Leonard) Cox, and John Webster, Jr.
Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Randy (Valerie) Jones, Benton; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy (Dave) Smith, Davenport, Iowa; three grandchildren, Brad, Tod, and Amber, great-grandson, Romeo.
A memorial service will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas on Thursday, January 26th at 11:00 AM.

Colton Owen Heffington, 23, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Friday January 20, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1999 in Little Rock Arkansas. Colton was employed as an HVAC Technician with Northside Heating & Air.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Owen (Bobo) and Dennis Heffington Sr. (Poppop).
He is survived by his grandparents, Burl Owen, Paula Owen and Jim and Louise Henshaw; parents, Mark & Shelli Madison and Dennis Heffington Jr; his siblings, Baileigh Hart (JT), Preston Madison, and MarliGrace Madison, Victoria Heffington, his nephew, JonMark Hart and his Girlfriend, Kiley Hill.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Center Point Church, 20383 Interstate 30, 72015. Minister will be Pastor Pay Dezort.

Musician James Daniel Fletcher, 74 of Benton, passed away on January 17, 2023. He was preceded in death by Eddie Fletcher, Jody Fletcher and “Bootsie” “Moo” Gordon.
Danny is survived by his wife, Cathy Fletcher, daughter, Cris Braseull; grandchildren, Vance Gardner and Sydney Brasuell and sister, Robin Ashmore.
Danny was born in Little Rock on July 27, 1948. He was a 1966 graduate of McClellan High School. Danny served in Army Aviation in Korea and was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. After his military service, he married Cathy on January 19, 1976 and later had their daughter, Cristie.
Danny and Cathy, along with drummer Jim Matthews, formed the band, Little Rock Stuff. For over 15 years, the band toured all across the country. In 1993, Danny and Cathy opened Fletcher Music in downtown Benton.
They taught numerous students on the same stage which hosted musical acts, including Grammy winning artist for over 25 years.
Danny played guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone and many other instruments. He also considered himself a record producer, recording bands live and in the studio, in both audio and video projects, throughout his professional career.
Danny believed in community and he always saw the music store as both a business and a public service. He taught music lessons, mostly on guitar, while contributing to the local arts scene that he felt was important.
Danny and Cathy put on music festivals, hosted recitals for students, and helped run the public access channel, amongst many other projects through the years.
He loved music, his wife, daughter and grandchildren. He will be missed by his family, friends and fans.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, Arkansas on Friday, January 27th. A graveside ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery in North Little Rock. Honorary pallbearers for the service are David Fletcher, Vance Gardner, Michael Hill, and Rob Flowers may be delivered to Our Lady of Fatima.

Jim Baxley, age 72, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born March 5, 1950 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late William and Catherine Little Baxley. Jim worked at Baxley & DeLamar Monument Company.
He is survived by his sister, Jerri DeLamar; niece, Debra DeLamar; and a nephew David DeLamar (Shawna) & their children, Hailey and Paige DeLamar.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28 at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Vickie Lynn Head (Page), 59, of Malvern, AR, passed away on January 18, 2023. She was born to parents James and Pearl Page, on September 10, 1963, in Helena, Arkansas
Vickie Lynn Head worked in Construction Management for 20 years. After 20 years of service, in 2010, she retired from construction. She enjoyed being a mother, gardening, traveling, and her Animals. Vickie Lynn Head met Donald Head in 2004. They were married on March 15, 2005, in Center, Texas.
Vickie Lynn Head is survived by her husband, Donald Head; son, Timothy D. Hicks II; daughter n law, Debra Hicks (Sprouse); daughter, Amanda Malagon (Hicks); and son-in-law; Sergei Malagon.
The family has entrusted Roller-Alcoa with the arrangements. A Private Ceremony is scheduled for immediate family January 22nd, 2023, 0900 at Caney Valley Cemetery.

Rena Augustine Clay, 93, of Benton, AR passed away on January 20th, 2023. Augustine was born at Little Rock, AR to John and Hazel Bridges on November 3rd, 1929. She graduated from Bauxite High School and attended both UALR and Baptist School of Nursing, earning her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She worked as Registered Nurse for more than 20 years and retired after a long but rewarding career. Augustine was a member of Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church and was known as a very talented Seamstress. She enjoyed Gardening, Crocheting, and cooking, and was known for her love of being family oriented.
Augustine is survived by her two children; Kathryn Smith (Sam), and Darrell Clay (Teresa), five grandchildren; Wade Smith, Carrie Taliaferro (Zack), Greg Smith, Aaron Clay, and Natalie Clay; two Great-Great Grandchildren; Bryce and Tucker Taliaferro.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton, AR. Funeral Services are to be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
