George Alvin Collatt, 79 of Haskell, passed away on January 9, 2023. He was born on May 20, 1943 in Benton to the late Samuel E. and Ella Rice Collatt. George was retired from Alcoa, served in the National Guard and was a member of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Emma Collatt.
George is survived by his daughters, Michelle Watts and Lisa Collatt, brother, Sherman Collatt and three grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday with Bro. John Bagby, Jr. officiating.

Linda Vestal, 77, of Fordyce, Arkansas passed away January 7, 2023. Linda was born May 13, 1945 in Truxno, Louisiana to the late Howard Taylor Pyle and Ethel Burnside Pyle of Farmerville, Louisiana.
Linda graduated from high school in Farmerville, Louisiana. She worked as a Certified Nurisng Assistant (CNA) at Oak Ridge Nursing Home in El Dorado, AR, a seamstress at Rison Garment Factory, and then as a personal caregiver until retirement. Linda enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading books, traveling and most of all, playing with her grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wayne Vestal of Strong, Arkansas; and parents, Howard Taylor Pyle and Ethel Burnside Pyle of Farmerville, Louisiana.
Linda is survived by four children: Randy Dewayne Williams of Louisiana , Huey Wayne Vestal of Fordyce, Deanna Sue Pierce of Okolona, and Albert Shane Vestal of Fordyce; 9 grandchildren: Alisha Juliana Stell, Alan Wayne Vestal, Sarah Elisabeth Rodden, Donna Leigh Beth Rodden, Cody Lee Balance, Robyn Celese Parker, Tommy Wayne Pierce, and Cheyenne Sims; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Dwayne Pyle of Farmerville, Louisiana; best friend, Jackie Russell Horton of New Edinburg; as well as a host of other family members and friends that will all miss her dearly.

Scott F. Keller passed away on January 8,2023 after a long struggle. Scott was born to Patricia Loraine Fornell and Stuart Andrew Fornell on April 10, 1965. He called Little Rock and Fayetteville home. At his wish, he was adopted by John Keller.
Scot was an avid sportsman and greatly enjoyed duck and deer hunting, grilling out, and visiting with his friends. He never met a stranger. Scott served in the Arkansas National Guard for 20 years as a medic with the 233rd Regiment- RTI. For most of his working years, Scott was employed by Northwest Regional Medical Center as Director of Security and as Fayetteville Police Officer. He was a member of Eudora Baptist Church. Scott was a participate of ARORA tissue donation. He is greatly missed.
Scott leaves behind one son, Seth Kelley; his mother and father: Patricia and John R. Keller; two brothers, Rob Keller (Kathryn) and Tighe Keller; nephew, Tyce G. Keller; nieces: Erica Keller, Wendy Atkinson, and Mandy Gardner; aunts and uncles: Charles and Betty Gann and Joe and Elaine Babb; cousins: Jamie Partain (Phillip), Andrew Partain (Rachel), Madeline, and Sidney; as well as host of family members and friends that will all miss him dearly.

Charlene A. Schall, 89, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away on January 6, 2023, in Benton, Arkansas.
Charlene was born in Bauxite, Arkansas to her loving parents Charles Luther Wear and Artella Rose Myers Wear on September 30, 1933. Charlene graduated high school and began her life’s journey as a devoted housewife and mother. Charlene married the love of her life, Irwin Schall, and together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. Charlene was a proud mother to three children and spent her life dedicated to them and their children.
Charlene is survived by her children Leonard (Debra) Schall, David (Dee) Schall, and Karen Blaylock. Grandchildren; Brandy (Darrien) Hughes, Sarah Crutchfield, Frankie Crutchfield, and Jessica Crutchfield. Three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Ruth Ellen Stokes, and Brenda Corallo. Charlene is proceeded in death by her parents and siblings, Gaynell Cummings, Diane McGee, and Bobby Wear.
A graveside will be held for Charlene Schall on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Avilla, Arkansas.
