A Memorial Service was held at Point Cedar, Arkansas on Lake DeGray, April 30, 2023 for Gary Stegall who passed away unexpectedly during the pandemic on August 20, 2021. He was 63 years of age. He was a kind person who donated his organs for the benefit of others.
Born in Benton, Arkansas he played football and ran track at Benton Junior and Senior High Schools, graduating in 1977. He worked for Reynolds Metals and the Saline County Road Department.
For over 14 years he ensured his beloved Mother, Mary Elizabeth Edmonson was well cared for. She passed away on his birthday April 18th, eight months after his passing.
He loved his family, hunting, fishing, collecting rocks, his dog “Precious” and being close to the water.
He is survived by his loving family, former wife Lisa Bridges, two sons Jeremy and Justin and was preceded in death by a son, Aaron. He had five grandchildren Julian, Emma, Gavin, Ellie and Logan. He was a member and baptized at The First Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas.
