On Saturday, May 27, 2023, Colton O’Neil Stults passed away at Arkansas Children’s Hospital at the young age of 17.
Colton loved as fiercely as he was loved. His passion for family, friends, God, and life itself was a shining example to all who knew him. Colton held a deep love for children, often befriending them and seeking to help them grow. Colton recognized his God-given gifts, and he had a great sense of humor and amazing creativity. He wanted to influence children’s lives further by becoming a physician and helping children at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Colton was constructing a firm educational foundation for his future through his academic success, evidenced by his ACT score of 33, ranking him in the 98th percentile of high school students nationwide. Those who knew Colton could attest that he demonstrated a quiet and humble confidence.
In the 6,387 days Colton lived on this earth, he demonstrated a brightness of spirit that only comes from God. Colton’s loving heart, ineffable character, and intellectual prowess will continue to serve as shining beacons of how life should be lived.
Colton was loved deeply by his parents, Tim and Kendra Stults, and his younger sister, Sarah Kate Stults. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dewey Stults of Saltillo, MS. Colton is survived by his grandparents Bill and Gail White of Texarkana, AR, and Martella Croft of Benton, AR, aunts and uncles Jeff and Shellye White of Texarkana, AR, Robin Stults of Benton, AR, and Christina and Mark-Jon Nichols of Pensacola, FL, and cousins Emilye White, Melodye White, and Kaitye White of Texarkana, AR.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
A celebration of Colton’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Indian Springs Baptist Church 23581 I-30, Bryant, AR 72022, with Stephen Harrison officiating.
Interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, AR, immediately following the service.
