Newk’s Hiring Immediately, Opening Soon; Panda Express Also Coming to Benton

UPDATE – SEPT 25 2019

I drove by Newk’s Eatery on Tuesday to grab a couple of pictures of the construction progress. It’s nearly complete.

Franchise owner Todd White says they are looking to hire lots many more people immediately. Applicants should apply at online at indeed.com or https://newks.com/careers or come see them in person. Newk’s is located at 20670 Interstate 30 in Benton in the Hurricane Village Shopping Center, between Academy and Tacos 4 Life.

We don’t know quite as much about Panda Express coming to Benton, but we now know it’s a done deal. The restaurant describes themselves as XXXX I have pictures from the 1.2 acre property, which is just off Interstate 30’s westbound Exit 121/Alcoa Road. They are moving dirt between Everett Infiniti and Discount Tire. They have big sign erected to let the public know they are coming. Here are a couple of pictures below from the last few days. PREVIOUSLY – MAY 31 2019

Looks like Benton will be getting a two new restaurants in the near future.

Just shy of two years ago, MySaline wrote about the possibility of a Newk’s Eatery coming to Saline County. It didn’t not come to fruition at that time (scroll down for related stories links), but rumors have resurfaced, so I checked it out with the developer, The Retail Connection. Here is the current listing of businesses at Hurricane Village Shopping Center, showing lease contracts signed for Newk’s Eatery right behind Tacos 4 Life, as well as something I wasn’t even looking for – Panda Express next to Discount Tire.

I also contacted the Arkansas Department of Health and acquired documents showing Newk’s has applied for restaurant permits. Click the images to enlarge them. I will update when there’s more information.
