MySaline has been a website for over nine years at the point. That’s where people are used to finding their Saline County news, but recently, we’ve branched out in several directions. Now you can find news and events from MySaline in three other big ways.
In June, we began doing MySaline LIVE, a video livestream on MySaline’s Facebook. It happens weekdays at 6pm. The great thing about going live is that viewers can talk along with the video and I (me, Shelli) can interact. It’s been a great way for people to get their news all at once and it’s also been a big bonus for companies wanting to get the word out about their business.
In July, MySaline began a partnership with Fidelity Local 6, the cable channel on Fidelity Communications. Those updates are once and week, and you’ll see them on Local 6, in between the other programming they offer. We are starting off with updates on events and we have plans to grow into other areas.
In August, MySaline began another partnership, this time with the central Arkansas radio stations who are affiliates for iHeartMedia. Those stations are KSSN 96 (95.7), Big 94.9, The Wolf 105.1 & The Edge 100.3. I’ll be participating in the public affairs show once a month for each of those stations. You’ll hear me talk with Tom Wood each time about things happening in Saline County at the moment and the upcoming calendar events. Listening for those on the following schedule for the last Sundays of the month:
- 6:00am on KSSN 96 (95.7)
- 7:00am on Big 94.9
- 7:00am on The Wolf 105.1
- 7:15am on The Edge 100.3
Those specific Sunday mornings are: Sept 25, Oct 30, Nov 27, Dec 25, 2016.
