If you see a tall blonde in a MySaline t-shirt at the Salt Bowl game – or anywhere else – look twice. It might not be who you think.
MySaline.com owner Shelli Poole has partnered with Sarah Heer, owner of ArkieTravels.com. The two have been friends for a decade and have many similar interests, so this made a great match.
You’ll also see Sarah at the Salt Bowl with a press pass and a camera. Make sure to say hello, and you might get your picture taken for MySaline.
You may have already noticed Sarah taking over some duties on the MySaline website. She will be sharing content from her own website when it’s relevant to Saline County. Arkie Travels started as a way for Sarah, and her husband Paul, to share their travels all over the Natural State with friends. It has since grown to include collaborations with Do South Magazine, OnlyInArk.com and now, MySaline. Follow on Facebook or Instagram @ArkieTravels to see all their adventures.
Sarah grew up in Saline County and would’ve graduated from Bryant, but her family got transferred to Atlanta through her dad’s job. Her family has deep roots in both Benton and Bryant and even though she went away for a few years, she still considers herself an Arkansas native.
She is very active in the community through Midtowne Church, the Royal Theatre, both the Benton and Bryant Chambers and is an alum of Junior Auxiliary of Saline County.
MySaline began in 2007 and has grown to become the most popular online news source in Saline County, Arkansas.
