I am writing on behalf of MySaline.com and Arkansas Rocks FM to announce that, after careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the upcoming candidate forum due to lower-than-expected participation and interest.While we are disappointed that the forum won’t take place as planned, we see this as an opportunity to explore new ways to connect our community with its local leaders. Your willingness to engage and be part of this event is greatly appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful for your dedication to our community.We will continue to seek future opportunities to engage candidates and voters in a meaningful way, and we hope to have your involvement when that time comes. Thank you again for your understanding, and we wish you all the best in your campaign.

MySaline.com and Arkansas Rocks Radio are teaming up to host the 2024 Candidate Forum on Monday, October 14th at 6pm. The location is Butler Auditorium at Benton High School, 211 N. Border St, Benton, AR.

~~Candidates in County, City and School Board races who have an opponent are invited to speak in the forum. All candidates are welcome to attend and bring materials and be recognized.~~

~~The format will ask candidates for an introductory statement. Then they will each field two questions, and then give a closing statement. This will not be debate style.~~
