The Bryant Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred this morning at the Best Value Inn at 407 W. Commerce Street.
The shooting took place around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Someone called 911 about a person being shot in one of the rooms. The suspect in the case, Kecia Lindsey, age 24, turned herself in a short time later at the Bryant Police Department. She is charged with attempted capital murder, discharging a firearm in the city limits, and 3rd degree assault on a family or household member.
