The identity of the male subject discovered early Saturday morning near the Military Road overpass has been confirmed and next of kin has been notified, according to the Benton Police Department. He is identified as 37-year-old Calvin Eugene Jones, Jr., of Saratoga, Arkansas. The cause of death is still under
investigation.

Benton Police officers responded to a report of an unconscious person under the Military Road overpass around 7:30 a.m. Saturday. On the scene, they found the male subject was deceased.
No identity is being released at this time. The cause of death is not yet determined. The Benton Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is now investigating. The case is ongoing.
