Deal between McLarty and Landers Dealerships never sealed

We thought it was a big deal that McLarty Automotive Group is bringing a Nissan dealership to Benton, didn’t we?

Well now, thanks to a tip from someone who would know, the even bigger news is that McLarty has bought Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Landers Chevrolet in Benton. The rest of the details are sketchy, for example, I hear that they are not buying Landers Ford – so who will own that dealership? Will they honor current service agreements? Will the employees be the same? Will the sign change? We don’t know yet.

We do know that the deal is supposed to be finalized in December and I bet the new signs will go up by January 1st. If there are new signs.
