Saline County residents have until the end of business on May 31st to go to the County Assessor’s office to assess your personal property without penalties. You can call for info at 501-303-5622 or come to 215 N. Main Street, Suite 7 in downtown Benton.
If you assessed in the county last year and you don’t have any changes you can assess online at www.countyservice.net. If it is your first time to assess you must do this in person. We have an additional location at Stonebridge Center, 101-G NW Third St, in Bryant.
Don’t forget about Amendment 79 that gives each homeowner up to $350 credit toward their tax due on their principal place of residence. Amendment 79 also applies a value freeze to homeowners over the age of 65 or the disabled. The website, www.salinecounty.org, has the Homestead Credit form available to complete and return to the Assessor’s office.
