Marlee was excited to see her favorite country singer, Riley Green, at her first concert, but didn’t know when this picture was taken that she’d meet him up close.
One little girl from Benton, Arkansas got swept off her feet by her favorite country singer recently, and the internet is going wild about it. David and Megan Poechhacker took their 4-year-old daughter, Marlee, to see a Riley Green concert in Jonesboro on March 9, 2024. Green is famous for songs like “Different ‘Round Here,” featuring Luke Combs and “There Was This Girl.”

Megan was taking video as the singer jumped off the stage and made his way directly to where Marlee was standing on the front row. She was holding a pink poster with the words “My First Concert.” Green leaned over to give little Marlee a hug, then picked her up for a photo opportunity.

After seeing the video published on Facebook and TikTok, Megan’s followers were delighted – and maybe a little jealous. One follower said she was going to a Riley Green concert soon in Fayetteville, and hoped he would pick her up and hold her too!
Megan noted that it wasn’t a total surprise to the family that Green was going to interact with them and sign the poster, “His crew kept coming over telling us he was going to sign it and come see her. She loves him and knows every word to his songs!”
