Low Income Residents Can Get Help With Energy Bill Beginning Feb 27th

Central Arkansas Development Council announces that the CADC Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program for CRISIS heating bills is scheduled to begin the week of February 27, 2017. Please see below for the application information for the 12 county CADC service area:

Pulaski County will be having LIHEAP Days on Monday, February 27th, at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds Arts and Crafts Building located at 2600 Howard St from 9am to 1pm.
- Following the two LIHEAP Days, the program will continue in Little Rock, starting on Monday, March 6^th. LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC Office located in the Little Rock Workforce at 5401 South University (501-603-0909) from 8am to 12pm, or until the first 175 people signed in.
- Following the two LIHEAP Days, the program will continue in North Little Rock, starting on Monday, March 6^th. LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC North Little Rock Office located in the North Little Rock Workforce at 324 Pershing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12pm, or until the first 30 people are signed in.

Saline County will be having a LIHEAP Day on Tuesday, February 28^th at CADC Cogburn Administration Building at 321 Edison, Benton from 8am until 12pm.
- Following the LIHEAP Day, starting Tuesday, Jan 27th, LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the Benton CADC Office at 321 Edison (501-326-6229) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 12pm.
Union County will be having a LIHEAP Day on Thursday, March 2nd at the Murphy Hall at 311 South West Avenue in Eldorado from 8am to 4pm.
- Following LIHEAP Day, starting on Monday, March 6^th, LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC ElDorado Office (870-864-0067), at 1426 N. West Ave on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12 noon.
Clark County will be having a LIHEAP Day on Thursday, March 2^nd at the CADC Senior Activity Center at 1311 North 10th in Arkadelphia from 1pm until 4pm.
- Following the LIHEAP DAY, starting on Monday, March 6^th, LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC Arkadelphia Senior Activity Center at 1311 North 10th (870-246-9871), on Monday’s and Tuesdays from 8am until 12 noon.

Ouachita County will be having a LIHEAP Day on Wednesday, March 1st at the Carnes Park Teen Town Building in Camden from 8am until 12 noon.
- Following the LIHEAP DAY, starting on Monday, March 6^th, LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC Camden Office located at 313 Jefferson (870-836-3200) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12 noon.

Hot SpringCounty will be having a LIHEAP Day on Wednesday, March 1^st at the Malvern Head Start Meeting Building located in a separate building at the back of the main building at 1735 East Sullenberger from 8:30am until 12 noon.
Following the LIHEAP Day, starting on Monday, March 6^th, LIHEAP applications will be accepted at the CADC Malvern Office (501-337-8401) located in the Head Start side of the Malvern Workforce Center at 1735 East Sullenberger, on Wednesday and Thursday from 8am until 12 noon.
Lonoke County will be having a LIHEAP Day on Friday, March 3^rd at the Lonoke Community Center at 1355 Front Street from 8:30am 12 noon.
- Following the LIHEAP Day, starting on Monday, March 6^th applications will be accepted at the CADC Lonoke Office located at 616 North Center St (501-676-8401), on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12 noon.
- Starting on Thursday, March 6th applications will also be accepted at the Ward Municipal Center at 405 Hickory Street from 8am until 12 noon- by appointment only-call the CADC Lonoke Office at 501-676-0019 to make your appointment.

For all other counties in the CADC services area, the LIHEAP Program will open on the week of February 27^th Days and times of applications will be accepted as listed below:

Calhoun County: CADC Office at 210 South Lee Street, Hampton (870-798-2457), applications accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am until 12 noon.

Columbia County: CADC Magnolia Office at 1503 Vine Street (870-234-6444), applications accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12 noon.
Dallas County: CADC Office at 410 East 4th St, Fordyce (870-352-8894), applications accepted on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 12 noon.

Montgomery County: CADC Mt IDA SCAT at 158 Senior Drive (870- 867-0151), applications accepted on Wednesdays only from 8am until 11am.
Pike County: CADC Glenwood Senior Activity Center at 229 Betty St (870-356-4212), applications accepted on Tuesdays only from 8am until 11am.
